I am not sure if my last review (which was very detailed) was recorded because when I finished it said my session had expired! Nice... Hopefully it did. Let me just say briefly this cruise (a non smoking ship) was without a doubt the best cruise we have ever taken in the last 15 years! Attention to every detail of our crusing enjoyment was given on this ship. I will only book Celebrity in the future and hope to go again and again on the Eclipse. In fact we want to take our whole family (26 and counting)! Thanks crew and staff of the Eclipse for making this a most memorable occasion.

The ship was very nice. The art work was just ok. Ship was very clean. Decor was not so loud as it is on some ships. Food was good but not great, much of the same over and over.

The ship was beautiful. It was exceptionally clean throughout the trip. The staff, in all areas, were more than friendly and accomodating. They kept us busy with so many things to choose from. The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of storage areas in the room for all you bring. There is not one negative comment I can say about this cruise.

We knew the Celebrity Eclipse was a newer ship so we booked this cruise and we had the best time! This ship was clean and amazing, the staterooms were spacious compared to others we have been on, the food and the service was superb! At times, there could have been more bar servers - sometimes there was a longer than expected wait to get bar service. Otherwise everything was outstanding! We were wowed by the Celebrity service and will definitely cruise Celebrity again!

We have always sailed with Holland America but thought we would try something new. The Eclipse is a beautiful ship, easy to navigate, some interesting features (martini bar was covered with ice, glass blowing demonstration and the specialty restaurant Qsine was very inventive) and didn't seem too crowded except for the pool area on "at sea" days. Service overall was okay but generally the crew seemed bored and uninterested in the guests. Food was nothing to write home about. The staterooms are nicely decorated but have very little storage space. Public rest rooms were scarce and kind of hard to find.

The ship was magnificent and the crew / service were spectacular! Destinations were okay but didn't matter as the onboard experience was go wonderful.

Very nice ship...very well planned for adults who want to cruise, rather than party. The entertainment was classy and entertaining. The food was excellent. Nice staterooms...superb bathrooms.

An amazing new ship with a crew that seems to genuinely care about the happiness and needs of the passengers. Everything was top notch.

This is a beautiful ship, in all aspects, and the staff was very attentive. Being able to dine at Blu is well worth the extra cost of cruising in Aqua class. This is an exceptional cruise for those looking to to have a relaxing vacation. Our ports of call were good, nothing spectacular. We took two of the ship recommended tours, and both were exceptional and very high quality. The cruise entertainment needs to improve. We attended 4 shows. Only one of the shows was worth seeing. The other shows, well, we walked out of them. Overall, however, it was an excellent cruise, and we would definitely recommend it.

Very clean, service was wonderful. We took back to back cruises on the Eclipse. An I recommend doing it.

The ship was beautiful. Since it was a brand new ship this year everything was so nice and clean. If Celebrity can keep up it's appearance, they have a winner. Easy access to everything except the hot tubs which were always crowded as they only held about 4-5 adults. Also the pools and hot tubs closed too early in the evenings. Staff on board were awesome! They were very professional and helpful. On board entertainment was pretty good... Not Vegas good but not bad for a ship.

This is the newest Celebrity ship, and was making only its second Carribean Cruise. The dining was excellent and the specialty restaurants were superb. The bar areas offered a variety of choices from load to intimate. We particularly liked the Enselble Lounge or Michael's Club, which were located near the specialty restaurants, and provided a great atmosphere for before or after dinner entertainment and drinks. Celebrity now also offers a variety of full cruise beverage packages, which fixes the price and eliminates the hassle of signing for all the drinks. As for the cruise itinerary, we are not particularly fans of the Western Carribean, but Costa Maya and Roatan provided suprisingly interesting things to see, although thay are places we would most likely only do once. Being the week after Thanksgiving, the ship was not completely full, and even with over 2,000 passengers you never felt crowded. Overall, a grat cruise experience.

This was my first cruise, we took the maiden voyage out of Miami November 17, 2010. Everyone on the ship it seemed had been on many cruises and raved over the ship's decor, options, food, variety of activities, and good shows.

We booked our transatlantic 13-night cruise on the new Eclipse from Southampton visiting Le Havre & Cherbourg, France then Vigo, Spain and Ponta Delgada in the Azores. This was our third transatlantic trip on Celebrity and the maiden crossing for the Eclipse. We've cruised about a dozen times with four different lines. This was our 6th trip on Celebrity. We'd been on the Solstice from Rome to Ft. Lauderdale the previous year and this trip was just as good if not better. The Solstice class of ships are classy, clean and modern yet very inviting and comfortable. The selection or artwork is interesting and the decor is sophisticated. Celebrity's staff is efficient and welcoming - everything was done right, well and with a smile. The enhancements to the cabins such as the shower doors versus curtains is highly welcomed. Food in all venues from the specialty restaurants to the main dining room was varied and excellent - we always had several meals we liked to choose between. If you're a vegetarian like my wife there are many options to choose from - she didn't feel like she was settling or missing out in any way and in fact loved the menus. We especially like the Bistro on 5 for lunch with it's assortment of crepes. Our only gripe was our cabin steward seemed a bit unmotivated - we had to ask several times for things like extra towels and he didn't seem to clean all that thoroughly. The ship is new and we're neat people so it wasn't an issue but it was also not up to the standards we've come to expect from any cruise line much less Celebrity. On the other hand all the other stewards in our wing of the ship were hustling, literally polishing the brass in the rooms and deep cleaning every day so I think our experience in that regard was a fluke and I wouldn't let it deter us in the future from booking again. I don't know if it was the duration of the trip (13 nights) or the itinerary but being our third transatlantic it seems to attract an older crowd. Being in our 30's we were from our estimates younger than probably 99% of the passengers; often mistaken for crew and asked question we nevertheless had a great time. All in all a wonderful trip and a ship we found hard to leave. Looking forward to planning our next trip with Celebrity!

Loved the interior designs of the many areas throughout the ship....The grass lawn on deck 15 is great, and the Corning Glass Works shows were excellent...We also had very good speakers every day on a variety of subjects...Dinner service was exceptional...great food and terrific waiters. This was our second cruise with Celebrity and we'll be going back..

A fantastic experience, which we hope to repeat in the future. The ports of call were all different and sunsets each evening were dramatic and spectacular. We made some great new friends from all over

The scenery was incredible! Wished the ship would have implemented better health and safety practices. It’s all about business. Covid is still alive and well on the ships.

This holiday of a lifetime incorporating our 7 day Alaskan cruise was so special it is so hard to put into words. The suite life it certainly was with all the perks and little extras make this cruise well worth the money having planned this cruise for 2 years my only slight disappointment was that the ship would have looked its best with a Revolutionised interior making a Retreat sun deck and Michaels Lounge that was very nice, into a Lovely bright Retreat Lounge,otherwise it was Celebrity cruising at its best well done Celebrity.

Overall we had a wonderful time. Amazing scenery and great cruise.
