Exceeded our expectations by a long shot

Room Type: Balcony

An amazing new ship with a crew that seems to genuinely care about the happiness and needs of the passengers. Everything was top notch.

Pros: food, service, views!

Cons: noise over our room at night was loud!!

Recommends Celebrity Eclipse? Yes!

Ship Quality
I never felt crowded except for the first night as we were waiting for our dinner seating.
Food and Dining
The buffet was amazing, with everything from sushi times to choices for British folks to Indian. The specialty restaurants were fantastic. We were very happy and ate entirely too much, none of it less than very good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our steward took excellent care of us, and the nightly hor d'oevres and such were delicious. The "pillow menu" was an interesting extra.
Service and Staff
Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always smiling.
We were very impressed that you could do everything from play trivia to see how glass is blown to listen to a lecture from a Ph.D. who works at the Smithsonian. That's impressive.
