The cruise was most likely our best on Celebrity yet, as it was pure leisure and relaxation, with no rush.  We were able to enjoy all amenities and offers that the Cruise had to offer, and enjoyed our Port Shopping.  We did not avail ourselves of any excursions other than Barbados, given our multiple trips to the same area.  The staff was probably the best that we have encountered, with looking forward to seeing our friends during dinner that we had met.  Also, we would like to thank you, Mark Winckler, for your gracious gift of OBS on behalf of .  look forward to our cruise from Venice with Celebrity in Sept. 2016.  Thank you once again, Ted&Lesia Pettigrass

Food , service & entertainment were excellent -- better than we have experienced in the last few years -- enjoyed the ports - spent a great deal on ship -- music all over - great piano bar w/Jordan Peterson -- just a very enjoyable cruise

Does two weeks in the sun with nothing to do but decide what to wear, what excursion to take and what to eat sound like what you are looking for?  then this  is the trip you.   The staff pampers you at every turn with great service and friendly smiles catering to your every wish to keep you happy.  Seven port of call give you a real feel of the island life.  You can shop to your hearts content or do one of the many activities offered such as sailing, scuba diving,snorkeling,touring, sitting on the beach.  The choice is yours!

We have just returned from the Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse. We had not visited any of the islands and were interested in comparing them.  The terrain is very similar on all of them - volcanic mostly with hills and beautiful beaches.  Not much of a "downtown" on any except Williamstad in Curacao which has lovely colored houses and buildings, walkable areas from the ship and many cafes for sitting and watching the world go by.  Our local tours were very good, booked through , mostly in small vans for 5-6 people.  My favorite part of the ship experience was the hot glass shop, sponsored by Corning Museum of Glass with three excellent glass blowers demonstrating their techniques.  The pieces are raffled off during the cruise with an auction at the end for special pieces.  Great weather, great trip!

We selected this cruise to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday.  She had never had 2 weeks off work in her life!  The itinerary, Aruba, overnight in Curacao, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, St Kitts, and St Maarten are all ports we have visited repeatedly and enjoy.  We booked a Concierge Class cabin on deck 9 and were very satisfied.  We prefer Concierge for its extra amenties, like sparkling wine, flowers, fruit, and a full breakfast menu for room service.  Service as usual on Celebrity was excellent.  We enjoy late dining at a table for 2, and the menus in the main dining room were quite good.  My wife enjoys seafood every night, and it was not repeated and included lobster.  We did eat in Toscano specialty restaurant one night on her birthday.  We were also invited to dine with the Staff Captain in Luminae, the suite restaurant, one night with two other couples.  The buffet pizza is quite good, very thin crust, and available till midnight.  There were only 3 production shows in 2 weeks, which was a bit disappointing.  What they did have was a series of afternoon and evening shows featuring some onboard cast singers and other singers throughout the weeks.  The passengers were a bit older than most 7 day cruise passengers on this 14 day sailing, and English couples were highly represented.

While Celebrity has done away with formal nights, they have Chic Evenings, there were a significant number of tuxedoes and long gowns, which we prefer.  There were many passengers booking onboard, and especially for more 2 week sailings.  Some passengers were even sailing back to back 2 week cruises.

to start the review I will say the food in both the Moonlight Sonata and Oceanview Café were excellent. The bartenders in every bar except the martini bar were like getting a drink from a uninterested robot. There are 3 drink packages, we got the middle thinking we could get everything from the lower one plus ours. What a joke,there are premium beers offered on the lower package that you cannot get with the middle package,somethings wrong here.  My wife and I are in our 50's with the average age on this ship closer to 70.

Everything was great especially the Luminea Restaurant, and the people who work there! Nino is a 10+!! Maggie and Ayanna were great as well. The ONLY place to improve is the cost of the laundry, and the Celebrity web site. 

The service on the Eclipse was excellent to say the least!  The room stewards kept our room clean and straight from morning til night.  We had things we needed before we asked. The wait staff made our dining experience a wonderful and extremely enjoyable experience. The food was exquiste and always serviced at the appropriate temperature.

The cruise ship was clean and very comfortable.Our dining experience in Blue was a mixed bag.  The food was very good as usual.  The service on the other hand was not very good. It seemed as if staffing was decreased and this caused difficulties, no refills on water, slower service.  The food and service was excellent in both Murano and QSine.  The surcharge for dining in a specialty restaurant is exorbitant.  If it wasn't for the discounts we received they would not have had our business. We are already paying for a meal as part of our cruise and the surcharge should be at least cut in half.  The wine selection on the ship was at best ok and was overpriced. The entertainment on the ship was greatly improved over our previous cruises.  Our cabin attendants, Silvestre and Das were exceptional and they were the only staff that we gave additional gratuities above the gratuity package.

Great winter escape for us from the cold northeastern US weather. Eclipse is a beautiful ship, staff is outstanding and super attentive. Either excursions or poolside during day, followed by evening show, drinks in Michael's Club, dinner in Luminae Restaurant (a great addition to Celebrity), or one of the specialty restaurants, and the music (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, British, Rock) in the Foyer!! If you didn't have fun on this cruise, it was your own fault. We had a great time !! 

first, let me say that the stewards and waiters were all very good, helpful and friendly.

All of my gripes are with the management and policy makers of Celebrity.

1.  It took me over an hour on hold to contact customer service on two occasions prior to the cruise.

2.  When we arrived at the ship the stateroom key did not work and an hour was wasted standing in line at cruise relations to get a new key.  The stateroom temperature was about ninety degrees when we arrived and we had to leave the veranda door open all night to cool down the room.  One of the mattresses was worn out and a replacement was not forthcoming despite two requests.

3.  Some of the food was good, but much of it was average at best.  The dinner rolls were never fresh and much of the food seemed to be thawed and heated.

4.  The prices for specialty dining, drinks, tours and Internet were overpriced, and the shopping was Noncreative and boring - nothing for sale that was unique, appealing or a bargain.

5.  I don't know if this is what Celebriy has always been like or if all of the cruise lines have adopted a policy of taking the pleasure out of cruising, but this cruise certainly was not up to the standards we found on prior cruises with Royal Carribean, Norwegian, and Carnival over the past 15 years.

This was our first time cruising with Celerity Cruse Lines and will not be the last.  Our butler Felix and his crew were exceptional.  The entire crew at the Luminae Restaurant was also exception along with the food.  The entire cruise was way more that we had expected.  For my birthday I walked into our suite to a huge birthday cake made out of towels and when we went to the Italian Steakhouse for dinner I received a real cake.  The steak was out of this world along with the service there.  When we returned to our suite Felix and his crew had gone all out and decorated our room, this was overwhelming to me, that these people not even know who I was sent not only a card signed by Felix and his crew but then the balloons, the cake, the wine, which by the way was the same one I drank nightly in the restaurant, was there.  This is a birthday I will not soon forget.  Thank you to your entire crew for and excellent job.

This was my first cruise on Celebrity so I really didn't know what to expect. My veranda room was exceptional. Plenty of storage and a sofa seating area. The veranda was one of the few that was larger than normal because of its location on the ship. I recommend room 8160! Food was good but not exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was refreshed twice daily. The big drawback was the terrible internet service. It could take many tries and over 30 minutes just to be allowed to try to log on. Once logged in, the service would ofter drop out before you could open your website. Downloading a document was almost impossible. Management said Celebrity is going to fix this issus.

Our experience on the Eclipse was wonderful.  Thoroughly enjoyed the Enrichment Speakers.  It would be nice to have a quiet place to read besides the Library.  The music is usually loud and hip hop.  More for the younger generation.  Our cruise had an abundance of the older crowd - including us.  Spoke to other guests and they agreed.  Food was excellent.  Nice size portions.  Wait staff were very attentive.  Overall an excellent cruise.  Will repeat in 2017.  Already booked the cruise.

The ship was stable, even when the water was a bit choppy, our primary consideration as we are sensitive to motion. The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the fitness center and the demonstrations of glass blowing by the Corning Glass Museum. The entertainers were talented, though the material didn't always meet their level. The islands were all beautiful, each with some distinctive characteristics, though one day is merely a sample of what they might have to offer.

The food and service was exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about our cabin crew,Blasido and Valino who kept our room spotless. They were friendly and went out of there way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The waiters, Oscar and Minguel remembered from the start how we liked everything. They were friendly and Oscar's suggestions were right on the button. The sommelier was extremely helpful and Marko remembered our preference's from the first day. It was interesting listening to there backgrounds.

the ship itself was beautiful and immaculate. We enjoyed the specialty restaurants but all agreed with the exception of Qusine that the inning room was just as good. Qusine was exceptional and gave us the opportunity to try many different dishes from all over the world.

The only complaint we had, that with the the exception of Jane Currey, who was excellent, the entertainment was a big disappointment. 

I wouldn't hesitate to use this cruise line again if the entertainment improved.

We have sailed on the Celebrity Eclipse before and were very disappointed that the food service had deterioted so badly.  The ship is still beautiful, well kept and still has an excellent staff.  Our cabin steward was one of the best we ever had, and customer relations staff went above and beyond to help resolve an issue with our travel agency. But we were very disappointed with the meals. The food in the main dining room varied from mediocre to awful! Tried the main dining three times and it never got any better.  Ate upstairs in the Oceanview cafe and had mixed results but in general it was good for cafeteria type food.  Won't go on this ship again.

The shows were also a mixed bag, first big show was excellent and the singers and dancers were very good.  The second show was awful despite the best efforts of some very good singers and dancers.  The Beatles group was excellent and some of the other shows were OK. The four islands we stopped at were great and shore excursions were excellent. Overall it was a very good cruise but the food  service was bad enough to say never again on this ship.  Will still try Celebrity again (6 cruises with them). But one more bad food service and we will look elsewhere for our Cruise Line.

 As excited as I was to take this cruise I was moderately disappointed.  our seating time was wrong,  we were then moved after having been seated and meeting our table mates, and no one had shown up at the table we had originally been seated. Then we were told our dining time was moved to the late seating. We were happy but found our table for ten had only six people. Far too large a table for six.  

Our  shower didn't drain and after 3 complaints was never fixed properly. Water continued to be all over bathroom floor which was very dangerous in an accessible room. My traveling companion was never comfortable while showering being concerned about falling.  

The same "fresh" fruit was left in concierge level room daily. Only change was if any had been eaten.

Also was told that we had a $300 OBC but only $200 was given. Still waiting to hear back from . Will not use them in future. Lied to me on 2 counts. First, when booking and then when I called about credit and representative Donna assured me she would check into the issue and call me back on the 1/6/2016. I'm still waiting. 

Very disappointed.  Wish someone would do something to appease to he bad taste that I have. 

Great food, wonderful staff and crew, fun activities.  Interesting ports of call.  Loved the specialty restaurant, Qsine, but also had good food in the Moonlight Sonata.  Activities aboard were varied and well-organized.  Ship is beautiful and well-maintained.  Very energetic and friendly cruise director and staff.  Crew, including Captain, also visible and accessible.  Wait staff great.  Interesting speakers and entertainment, though the theatrical productions were not great.  

Had a fantastic time. Ports of Call were great and the Staff on board was simply OUTSTANDING !!! They put aside the heartbreaking fact of being away from their families for the Holidays and made sure our Holiday was a perfect one. My compliments and THANK YOU to the Crew.
