Forget about the suites. Book a C1 cabin for one of the best locations on the ship - either aft on deck six, or at the stern on deck seven.

Dollar nice and strong, ports of call all very nice, the architectural portion of seeing these ancient cities amazing. Onbaord entertainment great. Get own taxis in Singapore ; they take cards and US$. Use own tours for Vietnam and Borneo. Look at my TA reviews. Hong Kong has free shuttel bus to Kowtoon and fabulous Tan Diem garden.

We took the ship sponsored buses only to the fartherest points especially Bangkok and traffic because we didnt want to risk missing the boat, but most of the other ones could be organized locally if you are adventurous and can negotiate. We found a small bus with 10 people did Ho Chi Minh city.

In its present form, don't expect the Constellation to be as nice as some of the newer and larger Celebrity ships. Therefore, if it's going to the destinations you want to travel, shop for the best deal possible and manage your expectations to make up for what it otherwise lacks in quality.

If going to the martini cruise bar go early as this is a very busy bar and at peak times it can take a while to get served.

Check which ship you are going on. The millennium class is an older ship to the solstice we previously went on. Whilst well maintained you could see the age difference. Check our accessibility if you have an walking difficulties. Make staff aware as they can often suggest ways they can assist.
