Review summary

Definitely recommend the cruise, highlight was renting a private Catamarran on the Amalfi coast and avoiding the ship run excursions which are way too expensive and way to crowded and geared to an older, slower crowd with mediocre food when applicable. Doing your excursions privately, hiring a car is the way to go.

Clean but a little dated, couch needed to be replaced, looking worn. Not a fan of the bedskirt which never looks neat or in tact. Services provided were excellent, steward was great, cleanliness by steward was awesome.

Ship tip

Dollar nice and strong, ports of call all very nice, the architectural portion of seeing these ancient cities amazing. Onbaord entertainment great. Not as keen on some of the lounge singers outside the casino, but there was a country singer there who was awesome. Take advantage of the Cafe Baci on 5

We did all the Celebrity excursions in September and found them to be excellent, didn't consider them geared to older people at all and the meals we had at Pompeii and in Slovenia, Best of Slovenia tour were very palatable. the tours were very organized, on time and great buses with knowledgeable guides. only one that wasn't worth what was charged was in Athens called A taste of Athens.
