Review summary

Our Favorite Port was Salerno. We chartered a Catamaran and toured the Amalfi Coast down to the Isle of Capri and back. All other ports were enjoyable.

Food and Dining

The food was good (better than most cruise lines). More Vegan Options are needed. The desserts were fair to good. The desserts offered at Cafe' al Bacio were the best! I was glad for day 3 when the staff stopped hocking me to buy a drink package.

We saw most of the shows. The Cirque show was the BEST! Told a great story and hopefully will encourage folks to be more tolerant of people that are different. We3 bought the CD!

Service and Staff

The service was Great everywhere. The staff in San Marco were always Great. The staff at Cafe' al Bacio were Excellent!

Ship Quality

Overall the ship was very clean. Some of the public mens room need inspection for repairs (sorry don't remember - mid ship deck 4 or 5). Our shower had some mold around the vent over shower head.

If you are taking the train into Rome get on the earliest Express Train and plan your stops closet to your desired destination. (We have been to Rome 4 times and didn't need to be on a tour)

Thank you for posting your review. It sounds like you had a fabulous time.

All cruise ships sell-sell-sell their "packages", drinks or otherwise. This is not an approach that is unique to Celebrity. Anyone who cruises regularly on the popular mass-market lines knows that and doesn't allow it to ruin their voyage... but it is annoying for sure.
