Review summary

Don't go if your disabled. Celebrity clearly actively discourages people with a disability by making it hard for them. Overbooked and understaffed.loved the pools and sauna

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Disgraceful treatment of disabled people. Three days before the end of the cruise, and following many passengers complaining, they allocated two tables for the disabled. When the restaurant became busy, Igor the restaurant manager ordered staff to remove the disabled signs. A complaint was made to the hotel manager and I am in the process of filing a complaint with the CEO

The Solstice class ships are far more accommodating to disabled folks since virtually every door opens either automatically or at the push of a button and there are no doorsteps to hamper the momentum of wheels. I became acutely aware of this after travelling with my 82 year old mother 2 years ago. Constellation didn't have nearly as much accessibility but it was still better that what I experienced on one of the newer princess ships.

My husband walks with a cane and we always have a wonderful time. They take very good care of their passengers. We just pay attention to the tour descriptions and book accordingly. Love Celebrity
