Review summary

Outstanding voyage in which the ports were ideal (see port reviews). We couldn't have been more pleased. The cruise itself from a ship perspective such as cleanliness, service, food and entertainment were excellent. The only negative was the design and layout of the ship. As someone who has taken multiple, multiple cruises, the architect did not do this ship any favors. Primarily the huge, non value added staircase connecting Deck 4 to deck 3 is a waste of space. By having a smaller rounded staircase they could have added an area for some entertainment or perhaps another lounge. While we primarily cruise with RCCL (Diamond +), we will cruise again on Celebrity (Elite) but never again on the Constellation.

Cruise Director Shawna was the best we have ever cruised with. Most cruise directors tend to be invisible and leave things to their staff. Shawna was everywhere and thoroughly enjoyable.

They made a mistake with the huge staircase from deck 4 to deck 3. They could have made a nice "centrum" look with entertainment. The design is flawed and for sure is the worse layout of any cruise we have ever been on. From a clenliness perspective the ship was clean.

Hired a private driver that took our group to Grasse and then onto Monte Carlo. What an amazing city with beautiful beaches. A martini in the Monte Carlo Casino and Hotel is a must.
