That first view. Open the door. Spacious room with all the amenities. Full balcony looking over stern if ship! Wife did not like the long walks. I can’t wait until another Sunset state room.

Ship tip

A minor problem the next year on the Beyond. We came to expect spectacular. Hard to repeat the glory of our first experience on Apex.

Anthropology major wife loved Mayan ruins. I was not impressed with long bus ride, long walks, and mediocre lunch.

Underwhelmed by Sea Lion “adventure.” Lunch was confusing — we ended with other tour and paid for something to eat. Time on beach ruined when I stepped on sharp coral. (Medical care on ship was great.)
