The rooms are a little smaller, and there is not enough closet space. The closets are a lot smaller than other Carnival cruise ships.

We didn't see the advantage or justification of the "faster to the fun" that the couple we traveled with had. Since we booked last minute it wasn't an option, but they seemed to still wait in link on embarkation, made it on the ship about 30 minutes before us and did NOT receiver their luggage any faster than we did. Carnival's solution was a bottle of wine, so they ended up with a $72 bottle of wine, which I don't think was worth it. Also on disembarkation we took our luggage with us which was easy. Our friends checked them the night before then had to wait at the dock to go pick them up.

When debarking for shore excursions, don't rush to get off the ship. They only opened in gang plank and were hurding us off like cattle. You were waiting in line a ling time to get off. Also if you are given a free drink card to use in the casino, be prepared, because you can only get those drinks from a waiter that you can never find. And they make those drinks in the back, so they are so watered down when they bring them to you. After my husband was given this they wouldn't even let him buy a drink at the bar if we were in the casino. The card was more of a hassle then a benefit.

Wait until your child is potty trained and over 2 or else there is nothing they can so activity wise. Also, my child slipped on there slippery floor and his head hit a stair on the edge and he busted it open, we had to run to ships medical to check for possible concussion and stitches! It was awful!

Go to Guy's Pig and Anchor as soon as you board the ship if possible. It is a gem of a place to eat and gets rather busy but it is not busy the first day.

There are so many things to do on board, it's all on what you make it. My advise is to book excursions BEFORE you get on board. Do NOT purchase excursions off the ship as it can be very disorganized.
