The Vista and it’s crew were fantastic! We really enjoyed our cruise and all the ports we visited. One of the best we have ever been on!

Embarkation was great! We had already checked in online and were assigned a boarding zone upon arrival. No check in at a counter! It was easy! The only negative was having to wait an excessive amount of time at the security checkpoint, but in these times, can understand.

The meals at the dining room were absolutely fabulous! The food was outstanding, service was wonderful and they even went out of their way to celebrate our daughters engagement and two birthdays in our party.

We loved the ships layout and enjoyed all of it but really didn’t use the pools and such due to cooler weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise director Matt! He was absolutely hilarious!! Best cruise director we ever had on any cruise!!! He brought laughter and participation to every activity and show he presided over. Just a true delight!!

All waiters and supporting staff in the dining room were fantastic and went out of their way for you. The staff at the Alchemy Bar were incredible! Be sure to ask for the martini sampler and watch the way it is prepared. Very cool! Guys Burger Joint was our go to every day for lunch and the staff there did great for the volume they had to deal with. Again, the biggest standout on the ship was the cruise director Matt! The guy is an absolute delight and cares for you and every person on the cruise with you. So down to earth, personable and absolutely hilarious!

The ship was very easy to navigate and the decor was extremely well thought out. Very modern but also very homey feeling. The elevators were the only negative as they were very slow to respond in all locations. Really enjoyed the ship though as a whole.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very comfortable and was perfect for two people. The balcony was very spacious and nice. The only negative was the extremely annoying spring loaded doors on the balconies and cabin doors as most surrounding guests forgot that they had neighbors and allowed the doors to slam shut at all hours.

We took the Jeep safari tour to a coffee plantation and Dunn’s River Falls and really enjoyed a tour of a large part of the island, the coffee plantation and climbing the falls. Only wish we could have spent more time at the falls. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and humorous.
We went on the Stingray Beach and Turtle Sanctuary tour and can’t describe how cool it was to hold a 5 ft stingray in your arms in the wild and have it just lay there trusting you not to hurt it. So awesome!! Really cool too to have seen how the Caymans are working to preserve the sea turtle populations! Recommend this tour!!
The shopping district was very nice. We took a Beach Buggy tour and really enjoyed it. We had been on a similar tour on a previous visit so we kind of knew what to expect. Our guides were great and the island was beautiful!
Disembarkation was not so good at no fault of the Vista. The port of Miami had only one gangway in operation to unload over four thousand people so we were greatly delayed trying to get off the ship. The second gangway was broken so it couldn’t be utilized. It was a good thing we didn’t have a plane to catch but it did delay our departure by car longer than we were hoping.
