The only thing I would change is Cayman Islands as it was, in my opinion, a waste of time. I did have fun there, but the stress you go threw to get on and off the Vista would not be worth it again. I absolutely adored this cruise! It was my first cruise and I will be booking another very soon.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was actually pretty fast considering how long the line was. All the employees were trying there hardest to help everyone and make it as smooth as possible.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was good, not everything was to my liking but we all have different taste buds. The waiters really did there best to please us and make everyone happy.
Onboard Activities

Whirlpool

As big as the ship is, I would have expected a bigger pool. It's like the size of a residential home pool and it gets packed rather quickly.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The DJ was awesome, he played a variety of music and tried to accommodate everyone. The music was a little too loud in the pool area in the afternoon, however, it was a really good time.
Children's Programs

I dropped my son off one day at the Ocean Camp so I can get some adult time with my family. At first my son did not want to go, as he is very shy. After bribing him, he decided to stay for an hour. When I came to get him after an hour, he did not want to leave. He had so much fun, I would literally drop him off at Camp Ocean and go to my room to sleep. He absolutely loved it, and the staff was just purely AMAZING! I will go on the Carnival Vista specifically for Camp Ocean.

Service and Staff

Everyone on the ship did there best to accommodate us and make this the best experience. They maintained a positive attitude and worked hard to make us happy. All though they had to deal with unpleasant customers who are just rude for no reason, they maintained a positive demeanor.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I would always see people cleaning and maintaining the ship. It was always very well kept. No complains!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I thought the room would be small and uncomfortable, however, it is actually spacious and very cute. The guy who cleaned my room did an amazing job all the time. My eight year old son had his own carry on luggage, I had a medium sized luggage and a carry on because I am a mom who packs everything unnecessarily. I was able to hang all of my dresses and had enough shelf room for all of our stuff.
Ship tip
There are so many things to do on board, it's all on what you make it. My advise is to book excursions BEFORE you get on board. Do NOT purchase excursions off the ship as it can be very disorganized.
This is no ones fault, not the Captains, the workers etc. To get off the ship onto the island is a hassle as we have to take another ferry boat from the Carnival Vista to the Island. Although it's a small distance, there are thousands of people on board and it took allot of time to get on board and off board. If I were to sail this ship again, I would miss this port and stay on board.
I just read your review after I posted my own, and it's so nice that we agree on so much! What a great sailing! I agree with you that people should do a little research before boarding (ok, I did quite a lot), there is just so much to do and see, you need to have your priorities sorted or you'll waste a lot of time.
It must've been a shortage of tender boata or something. We went the year before last and we literally waited 10 mins for the tender to fill up and we pretty much walked right on one to go back to the ship. We was on a full ship also.
