While better than most vacation options, still, I would not suggest this ship to anyone. We still had a relaxing time, but there are much better options for cruising than the carnival vista.

The ship was great. The staff was great. The entertainment was lacking. The dining room and steak restaurant were excellent. The buffet was normal buffet stuff.

We're sailing again this fall, (but with another line), and we'll most likely will sail with Carnival again, but when we do, it will be the Freedom or similar class.

Very good, but I missed a good library with oceanview.

Nice to get away. Carnival makes your time on board pleasant and eventful.

We had a wonderful time. I would suggest putting your luggage out the night before even if you live locally to save the hassle of disembarkation.

Enjoyed activities as a family and also had time for myself as well. Thats what we love about cruises. So many options for all of us. We can be active or rest. Take time alone or together.

Carnival has successfully implemented the concept of a "Floating Trailer Park". "Soup kitchen" quality food, with "High School Musical" style entertainment. Extremely poor quality sound system= screaming rather than singing. Theatre was very poorly conceived with a mix of chairs and theatre seats with little room to walk between rows, flat floor and columns resulted in poor sight lines. Just as well, we left most shows within a few minutes. This "theatre?" area needs a redesign; and real Cruise Ship Entertainment. Chefs must be Graduates of Golden Corral College two week course. Very small diner portions compared to real Cruise Ships, just as well, no flavour. Even the watermelon had no taste. Other melons were too hard, either not ripe or just poor quality. Fried Chicken had an uneatable, plastic like coating and uneatable chicken. A lot of food was sent back to the soup-kitchen. Most people commented that "This was their Worst Carnival Experience". Extreme buyers' remorse Never Carnival again!!

I'd rather be on a smaller ship where guest service and personal touches are more evident.

The cruise, amenities and staff were amazing. The food was also amazing and there so many great activities to do.

Not a complaint, only an observation as I stated before that we would cruise Carnival and the Carnival Vista again. If you are looking for a more sedate cruise this is not for you. However, if you want a lot of activity then you should pick Carnival and the Vista a good choice. The staff and the food was wonderful. It looked like the children's programs kept the children entertained.

Took my children on their first cruise and they had a great time. 16,15, and 12. My first time on a carnival ship and was impressed. Great job Carnival

My trip was on 16 Dec 2018, but that was not in the drop down menu! Overall I had a great time.

Overall, the cruise was pretty good! I'm not as big of a fan of the Vista as I am of the Triumph. The food wasn't always great and the shows weren't as good. I didn't have the opportunity to explore as much of the ship as I wanted because I was travelling with older companions. I don't think I would cruise this particular ship again, but my kids loved it and loved the O2 director. The ship director was awesome too!

Carnival Vista ship layout sucks, use the carnival hub app. Food in the main dining is average some is gross, cold. Guy's burger, bbq, the pizza, seafood shack, Mongolian Wok, JiJi's are excellent. Get ready for crazy lines on the buffets, especially any time during breakfast on port days. Ports were awesome, Jomar our room steward and his team was above 5 star!! room was nice, very clean. Staff was very friendly.

First, the cruise was great, staff was excellent, met a lot of nice fellow cruisers too. But, we had a problem with the Cheers package-no one said that it could not be used on Sunday due to some "Texas law" that nobody could explain. We went to Guest Services and after some discussion, we received a one day pass for all the drinks we wanted. We paid over $700 for 7 days, in reality, we received drinks only for 6 days. Bring this to the attention of Carnival please. That was the only glitch in what was a great cruise, our second one on the Vista.

It was a nice cruise. Loved the cruise director Matt. Very interactive with everyone. Nice ship. It did rock more than I like. Thought the Lido MarketPlace was not as good as it could have been. The anytime dining was excellent. Staff was great. Enjoyed the Cruise and our excursions. Suite not as nice, partial view.

My stateroom steward, Panadda, was exceptional. Very professional and always had a smile on her face. This was my 3rd cruise with Carnival and I must say that Panadda made our experience one to remember. Promote this lady ASAP!
