Review summary

Overall, the cruise was pretty good! I'm not as big of a fan of the Vista as I am of the Triumph. The food wasn't always great and the shows weren't as good. I didn't have the opportunity to explore as much of the ship as I wanted because I was travelling with older companions. I don't think I would cruise this particular ship again, but my kids loved it and loved the O2 director. The ship director was awesome too!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were really upset at first that we had to wait until our 12:30 appt time, but it was so easy and there was ZERO waiting in line!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The buffet was great! The food in the main dining room was sometimes great, but sometimes not.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My kids l(15 &17) loved the activities, but I thought some were a bit lacking. To be fair, though, I didn't explore the ship as much as I had intended to do so.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Entertainment was ok. Some were better than others.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My kids loved every minute of the cruise!

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The majority of the staff was excellent! We only ran into a couple of, less than enthusiastic, staffers.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was very clean! I wasn't totally crazy about the design and flow of the ship, but that is only a matter of opinion. The ship doesn't seem to flow as well as the Triumph does.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was great!

Ship tip

Try to get the most out of your experience. Explore the ship and relax!

Ports of call

Montego Bay, Jamaica

5 out of 5
This was my son's favorite port! Beautiful and the people are kind and happy. They will push for tips in the shops, but they get most of their revenue from tourism.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Beautiful! Love the turtles, but really want to experience the beaches more.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Been there before. Love Cozumel. Want to visit a different part next time.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized!

I’m glad your teens enjoyed it. We’re cruising on the Vista this July and this time we are bringing our 16 year old son’s friend. (He was a little bored on our last cruise on the Valor.) First review praising the embarking/disembarking and I’m glad to hear it!

Zero waiting time to embark! Wow, that’s a concept I could embrace! Tks for sharing.
