Review summary

kitchen chief for dinner is bad cooker. Tiger shrimps are not tiger shrimps. Vegetables are not tasted at all. Bread are hard and cold. Lunch chief is better.

Had an amazing time on the 11 day Carnival Vista inaugural journey cruise. Yes too few elevators and yes the interior cabins are smaller. However my travel companions and I simply had an amazing time. Tons of food choices, entertainment staff, Matt. , Cookie, Nono, Eden and others were top - the best. Gambler, we would never go on Disney. The Vista is a good ship. Matt Mitcham is great as the cruise director. The cost is just for the IMAX but we didn't go because we don't like 3D. While we were on the Vista most films were Children focused.

You are right about the shrimp in the MDR! The shrimp in the Steakhouse were much bigger. Carnival is all about cut backs and making $$. Twenty Carnival cruises since 1992, take it from us, there have been a lot of cut back thru the years. Sad

From what I'm told they are even first run movies in the IMAX. Not worth it. Side note omgoshbananas, Disney doesn't need to pay for film rights on their cruises for obvious reasons.

The Vista IMAX theater shows only new releases, they have to pay for film rights like everyone else. The movies on lido are still free.

God bless her. Oasis is a gorgeous ship. We cruised her in 2011. But wouldn't try the zip line. It's not bad. Pretty short distance

I've done a lot of research on this ship and I'm on a few carnival Vista sites and the pictures are amazing. There's so many places to eat it's ridiculous. Carnivals entertainment is always top notch. The Sky Ride alone is going to be amusing if you are on the may cruise with me you could laugh at me trying to get around that stupid track lol
