Definitely use the HUB App- not all bars/restaurants stay open the same hours every day so it was helpful to be able to quickly check. There's also maps and schedules!

Don’t take this cruise. They advertise a “deal” to get you on the boat in order to scam you out of money. It is one big tourist trap. Carnival is very dishonest and I felt like a huge dollar sign to them rather than a guest. I will never travel with Carnival again and I highly suggest you don’t either unless they change their business model for pure unadulterated greed to something that at least slightly resembles concern for their customers.

One thing I would suggest is to plan just a few things to do on the ship, but take time to really enjoy the outside view by walking around and taking it in...the view is breathtaking...

Be mindful that if your taking small children, there will be lots of drunk adults & camp ocean times were not consistent.

Take a fan. The air is not that comfortable in the room. Most of the time it was hot. Skip Progresso Port of Call.

Be aware that you cannot go from one point of the ship to the other without possibly taking an elevator up/down or stairs! Then you must get on another elevator! You are not told this so most of the trip we spent trying to get from point A to point B. Elevators need to be marked on the outside to show which floors it goes to with instructions on how to get to other floors! Never book a room below the dining hall, there was scraping of chairs all night as they cleaned; we were on level 8 and level 9 was the dining room. The deck was pleasant until people started smoking next to us! The sign outside on the balcony says not to throw cigarette butts into the ocean, But it should say "No Smoking" as well! It appears if its okay to smoke, just don't throw your cigarettes into the ocean!

The Serenity area just for adults was wonderful. Plenty of space for anyone who wanted to escape children. There was a separate pool and spa and unique chairs, hammocks and lounge chairs.
