Review summary

I have always loved Carnival and had no problems on previous ships. However I did not like Carnival Valor. Inefficient AC in the cabin (not cold enough - they were unable to fix it, and gave us a fan) .Extremely annoying elevators - impossible to tell in which direction they were going. Boring salad bar. That being said, we still had a most enjoyable cruise, and would definitely do it again, just not on Carnival Valor!!!

I try to use the stairs when going down and use the elevators when going up. Keeps me off the elevators half the time, at least. Thanks for your review. We are sailing the valor in July, and I'm hoping for smooth sailing and decent service.

I feel the buffets are limited on the smaller ships but still tasty overall. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.

Alright 5 day cruise

It was a great experience for my first cruise! The ship was not luxurious, but kept up well! The food was good but not great! But there was always plenty of it!
