This is a great cruise for the price. That is not a negative, it's just not a huge ship with as many places to wander on the ship. It is immaculate, great for a family and has more to do as a family than I have seen before. The ports are perfect for those who have never been, or for those who have a reason to keep returning....great beaches to lay on, diving etc. I do not feel the need to wander anymore on Cozumel. I'm always impressed with how the staff can act like every week is the first week they have been on the cruise and treat all the vacationers with such fun. The DJ at the pool was fun, appropriate, taught great dances for all and the Dive in Movies with popcorn was fun for us each time. My worst scoring was on the disembarkation. I don't feel it was disorganized, but we did all we could do to get off early and still waited at least 2 hours to get off with half the ship still on board. It has NEVER taken this long on the 10 plus cruises I have been on. It may have been customs, but it was WAY too long.
Embarkation

The process could not have gone better. It was nice to be welcomed by people who are in a hectic situation, yet smiled and were kind. Duely noted.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
There was a plethora of drink options that were wonderful. The food is everywhere, but as is normal on cruises, many desserts and breads are just hard or not fresh feeling. The burger bar and burrito bar was some of the best food ever. The dinners were great, but even some of the meat there was a little tough. However, the food was basically great, many choices, and pizza and ice cream 24/7.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I felt the activities are improving. I do get tired that so many are geared around sex or alchohol, but sometimes it was funny. I guess much many have been over kids heads. The crafting on ship days was my favorite and I would like to have done more. BINGO is fum, but too expensive. I would like some cheaper options to just enjoy.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I never met a single staff member that was not perfectly kind, helpful and willing to do anything. They work so hard!
Ship Quality

Nothing could have been cleaner. The sheets ane towels smelled fresh. The pool decks and shower floors looked clean. I never got that gross feeling that my feet are catching a disease.

Ship tip
The Serenity area just for adults was wonderful. Plenty of space for anyone who wanted to escape children. There was a separate pool and spa and unique chairs, hammocks and lounge chairs.
I have been to Cozumel so many times that it is not new, but happens to be one of the only cruises I can drive to enjoy. If you have never seen Cozumel and the beautiful beaches, it is wonderful. I'm completely disenchanted with the over touristed main city, but there are plenty of sites to see to get away.
Progresso is trying, but I don't find there is as much to do again since I've been there. I actually like the city better, there are ruins, and some new options. Everyone is helpful there, but you have to wait on a bus to get back to the ship. Nice bus, but not a quick option.
