If you want to do karaoke, sign up early because they get all booked out quickly. The "social media" wifi did not work at all. The premium wifi worked fine but was slow (not surprisingly for satellite on a ship). I'd skip social media wifi. The carnival hub app was great, but to use the chat, you have to frequently log onto wifi. Download the app before you get there.

If I could give one tip it would be to bring a power strip (no surge) or and extended outlet. There is one outlet in the cabin & one outlet in the bathroom. If you have girls that use straight irons, cell phones, computers, iPads etc this will come in handy.

Go ahead and take an excursion, they are well worth it. I'll be leaving positive reviews on Carnival's website for the excursions we took. Don't make any phone calls ever. ;)

There are 2 pools one mainly for the kids and there families and another pool on the other side for the adults be smart and mature if you're an adult and don't want to be splashed and move to the adult pool.

Get there early on embarkation day... buY lots of gifts in Cozumel! They have a huge variety and are a lot cheaper than the cruise ship Fun shops.
