Serenity deck was great for getting away if you caould find an empty spot or a chair that wasn't broken. The only thing is that there were so many people you really were limited on the main deck with minimal seating and space. Not enough drink servers and service took a while.

As of our sailing, Valor is in the 2nd largest class of Carnival ships. Generally speaking, larger ship=better. She was recently renovated & had nearly everything fixed in dry-dock. We saw no issues with the ship, & the staff exceeds expectations at every turn. Be nice when cruising & be happy!

We did love the Serenity Deck when we wanted some peace and quiet. The hammocks were nice but needed more of them. It was a hidden gem in the middle of a loud/crowded day at sea. Skip the Seaday brunch. Food was actually better on the Lido buffet.

Do not run when it rains in any of the island. Stay calm , relax & take a walk to your vessel. Cruise team is very sensitive & sensible to all guests. Do not have to worry about being disturbed. It is a completely relaxing experience. Just leave your worried behind & enjoy the cruise
