Review summary
I enjoyed the destinations that we visited. The kids camp was very organized but I didn't like the fact that you had to keep picking up your child to take part in various activities instead of the camp leader's. I think the ship was a bit overbooked and that they needed more seating and pools. The pools and jacuzzi's either stayed full or was out of order. There were scorched eggs, over cooked food and the fruit was not ripe. The staff was nice but I think it's time to change cruise liners.

Ship tip
Serenity deck was great for getting away if you caould find an empty spot or a chair that wasn't broken. The only thing is that there were so many people you really were limited on the main deck with minimal seating and space. Not enough drink servers and service took a while.
Ports of call
Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

I never saw anything broken on Serenity, and was always able to get a chair there after the rest of the ship was full. Our Serenity drink server during the day - "I Made" was his name (Indonesian) - was always available, always knew our order, and only asked our cabin number on the first order. He remembered it for everything subsequent. Sorry you had a bad experience there, we loved it and were there every day.
