Review summary

Casino was boring. Too many penny slots, not enough exciting newer quarter and dollar slots.

Dining room service was awful, food was terrible.

All ports were great except for Nassau.

the whole point if this app is to share opinions. if someone thinks the food isn't that great let them say so! I agree the slots weren't that great on the valor

Joeexpress, YOU are a sad excuse for an American.. That's okay. Since you're so selective and picky about your cruise lines, those that raised their right hand and actually served/sacrificed laugh at YOUR level (or lack thereof) of class. I will NEVER tell a veteran (as one myself) that I didn't care about their service or experiences! You wouldn't say that to me in person.. COWARD.

I really feel sorry for you dude. funny how brave people really are behind the scene. I hope you enjoyed your vacation. I'm done here cause I have a career and have 3 training sessions tomorrow. For everyone that will be on board the Valor on halloween, see you there.

It has nothing to do with it. It was just 2 civilized people sharing a common connection. Why does that bother you? Seriously. People talk on here all the time about all kinds of things. No one said it had anything to do with the cruise. Most of the people on this thread have been chatting nicely & you come along and start slamming people for enjoying Carnival and calling people lemmings.

Joelstein64, you got it right when you called him a keyboard warrior and he certainly doesn't speak for this board. It's a special kind of cowardice to pretend to be brave when you can do so anonymously. I'm sure in real life he's would not be so foolish as to voice his ridiculous insults.

Wow, joexpress. Have you always been such a foul tempered person or did someone run over your puppy? To insult someone who served our country is really just the lowest. YOU may not care that he served but most people do. To insult people that enjoy a cruise because you do not? Again, wow. Since you have such a low opinion of Carnival and people who enjoy their cruises why not move along.

thanks Joe, next time I'll run it by you first. Never like to step on the toes of the self appointed group spokesman. My point is that so many people bitch about everything in here. They are the ones that think they are entitled. Grateful for nothing. Just more bad ass keyboard warriors.

on my last navy cruise they took us to Pakistan after 89 days at sea. couldn't even live up to the drunken sailor stereotype! Nassau would be a walk in the park. or if it were that bad I'd just stay on the boat. they have everything you need.

My hubby is a Commander, USN Retired. He always laughs at me if I complain the seas are a little choppy! And he has loved every cruise. Go Navy!

always amazes me too see the entitled royalty on here, people that base their vacation on food. I've never been on a civilian cruise but I expect the food will be fine, it's just fuel. btw, I loved the food on my Navy cruises. I am grateful to be going on this trip, just can't wait.

If I encounter a problem, I politely ask that it be corrected it and it is. I understand people are human and I am not staying at the Bellagio. I enjoy every moment. But I see the people like you on every trip. Rude, never satisfied and making the staff miserable just because you can. So please, do us all a favor and go cruise ... somewhere else.

I don't think so, Joe. I've had wonderful food, fabulous service, delightful entertainment. I have found a huge secret to getting such wonderful service: I'm nice. I engage the staff in polite, friendly conversation. I thank them for the service they provide me. I don't waste ridiculous amounts of food just because I can. I try new things and if I don't like them I try something else.

We did the Valor in August and loved it! What ship were you on? As for Carnival being the Walmart of cruises, you keep thinking that. Less critical people on board is a good thing. We have cruised Cunard, Holland America, Princess and Carnival the most, 5 times. We love Carnival and never have had a bad trip. Some people just like to complain.

wow, we do not care about the casino, but we thought the food was good, and plenty, and overall we had a great time...our first cruise, sorry to say, but it's hard to please everyone, I appreciate the little things in life, you get that when you worked 20 years overseas in the middle east and africa...there is always worse....
