musta station drill is not organize,its takes too long very hot with that many  people .we had been their about 20 min. and people was still coming.we had a different waitress for dinner 4 out 5 times so we couldn't tip 

The Carnival Sunshine is a beautiful ship.  We had a wonderful time.  The crew was not as friendly as we have experienced in the past but they did their job well.  The entertainment in the Liquid Lounge was great.  We also enjoyed the piano bar very much.

While the island experiences were awesome, the ship was full of problems. We had two cabins.One lost electricity for most of a day. The other,which was a suite, had a toilet that did not always flush, a mini fridge that did not stay cold and no cold water in the bathroom sink. We had such problems with the main dining room that after the second night of our 8 day trip we never went back. We waited an hour and a half for a table and then they proceeded to lead us to table after table which were for other families then left us standing in the middle of the restaurant while they tried to figure it out. Two of the watches we bought on the ship didn't work properly and they would not exchange them or refund our money.

Not sure where to even begin.  We recently went on the Carnival Sunshine.  Let me say first off the only reason for 4 stars is that the ship was a little too crowded for my liking.  That aside....it was amazing! The drinks were yummy....we met some amazing people....and had great staff!  Our wait staff in the dinning hall was impressive!  Dennis and Tamara were so nice and my kids loved them.  The room steward Dewa was AWESOME!  By the second day my kids already had secret hand shakes with him.  Our room was cozy but on a cruise you just don't have the luxury of much space so that's pretty typical.  The comedian on the first portion of the cruise was hilarious.  We did not enjoy the one at the later part of the cruise.  Shows were crowded.  I did enjoy having a balcony where i could get away from the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet.   

Onto the fun stuff....the islands!  We visited St. Marten which was absolutely stunning.  I would go back there in a heartbeat.  St. Kitts we did the dolphins and although quite expensive I feel you must do this at least once.  San Juan we were able to experience the culture and beautiful buildings.  And Turks the water was warm and clear and amazing.    

Overall, amazing trip....great memories....but I think i would consider a smaller ship for less crowds next time.  

Good islands for visiting and excursions. Some dining room confusion/delay of service. Good entertainment each night. Would like to see a County Music Night. The menu was outstanding each and every day!!! When service was on point every thing went well. Loved any time dining selection!!! Would love to see the mint back on pillow, a real meeting of the captain during the elegant dress night, cocktail party and bucket of ice in stateroom each day.

Debarkation to Aruba took 1 1/2 hr's to get off the ship. The price of the excursions was not worth the excursion. The food was not up to cruise standards.

I would never recommend the Sunshine to anyone. About the only good thing was our room person Jay. He was fantastic

This ship was the Destiny--it was refurbished (added 2 more decks), so there were a lot more people on board & the public areas had not been increased.  Food was okay, but not outstanding.  Had to wait in long lines to see the shows.  Staterooms were small--I couldn't go by the bottom of the bed without colliding with my husband's feet.  Most activities were geared to the 18-40 age group.  Music was geared to them, so it was constant thumping & very loud.  Ship did a very poor job of disembarking at Aruba.  We arrived at 1 pm & had a tour at 1:30.  Instead of announcing that people with 1:30 tours disembark first, everyone was crammed into extremely long lines on deck 0.  This was a problem for my husband who has trouble standing for long periods of time.  This ship goes to Bermuda on Oct 2. & we had considered going on it--after this experience, we have decided never to travel on this ship again.

To many passengers not enough ship! Poor planning on the part of CCL.

Who wants to stand in lines for over an hour to get into the shows and still be turned away due to over crowded!

The ports were great, this cruise was best for the itenerary. The Sunshine was okay, but I probably would not go back on this particular ship again. It was supposed to be the most updated ship, but we couldnt see any big update The stateroom never got as cool as we would have liked, but it was tolerable. The staff were all friendly so that helped. We have only been on 1 other cruise, the Carnival Sensation, and it didnt seem much different from that one. We had a great time, so overall it was good.

Cruise was good but had lots of mechanical and electrical problems. Personnel on the Lido were taken for granted and their attitude towards cleanliness started slacking. Your land terminal in Port Canaveral could use updating. Otherwise it was a good cruise.

I had an amazing time great food, lots of things to do!!  I Love the Sunset dining room, the servers were amazing and the food was excellent!!!!!!  They made us feel so warm and accepted.  Remembered our names!!  "Showtime" was very entertaining.  Best dining experience ever.

No surprises.  Everything was to our expectations. No delays. Room was comfortable. Shower was a lot bigger than our first cruise (Princess Dawn year 2004).  Friendly service, good variety of food and good entertainment (love to dance).  I was worried that there would be a lot of kids running around, but on this cruise we had babies to seniors in wheelchairs.  My husband and I would highly recommend this cruise line.  To Jamie and her staff thanks for a good vacation which we badly needed.

Our second time on the Sunshine.Brought along 3 other friends who are "Celebrity" cruisers. They agreed with us that the Sunshine, was all we had said before: the  ship is Clean, offers good food.,good service,and

very talented singers & dancers.(though a bit TOO LOUD in the "shows".Never a dull moment. We all had a great time. Our friends  mentioned that ship offered more  activities and that the food was better than the food they have received on other ships.

 we loved our sunshine cruise..... its our 8th one .. and the food on this one was fabulous...... bathroom too small . but ok.. its the smallest bathroom we have ever had.. and no makeup mirror.. which we had on all other cruises...

The cruise was fine.  The room and food was adequate.  We had better food on other cruise lines  We found the ship to be very confusing trying to find the dining rooms.  The Sunset and Sunrise names are too similar.  We heard this complaint from numerous people. The dance and music group was terrific as were the graphics.  I should not have wasted my time going to the nighttime comedian.  Very offensive, but I was warned so it was my fault for not leaving.  A procedure should be put in place for using the cabanas.

I loved the ship, the serenity decks are amazing. Food was perfect. We booked a spa room, i traveled with my son. My wife told me of all the extras we got for being in a spa room. She didnt let me pack my shampoo and conditioners as she said they had these amazing upgraded products. I got one teeny bottle of conditioner and used it the first day. I asked for more and the room steward said i couldn't get anymore and to ask at the spa. so i went to the spa and asked for more and the lady said Oh no, you cant get anymore. i have frizzy hair and due to no conditioner my hair was unmanageable the rest of the cruise. I didn't even take pictures because of that fact. Also we were supposed to have robes and slippers, and didn't get those until the last day, well in fact we got robes but never did get slippers. Again, we paid extra for these things and never got them. that was a disappointment. We love cruising and love carnival, but feel we should get what we paid for. Not sure we would do the spa rooms again, they were not really worth the extra money we spent. 

Food for Vegan choices needs to improve. If you look at your competition, like Royal Carribean or Holland America you will see they give a better selection for Vegans meals. The entertainment also needed more selection.

Booked this cruise for my husbands birthday. We did have a good time on the cruise. We made our own fun. Not a lot to do on board. Mainly trivia games. Went to the Gym most days. Ports were good. took a tour of Puerto Rico that was great. Just a little bus waiting for anyone. Grand Turk was a new experience and quite educational with the John Glenn Splashdown Information. We cruise a lot, so did not get off at the Bahamas and did a little shopping at the dock stores in St Thomas. Food was good the first 3 days and then seemed to not taste as good after that. Coffee was the best..very strong. Shows were good. I would not go on this ship again. Realized after we boarded that it was the "Destiny" they had painted it and changed the name to Sunshine. That Destiny Cruise was the worse cruise ever! Makes you wonder why they would have to change the name. Ship was still dirty and our balcony door would not stay shut. Crew was wonderful and tried to help all they could.

Great food and service.

Entertainment is poor.

The rooms are barely adequate (We had a balcony) and the furniture and carpet is very worn.

The spa has not pools.  We expected more since we paid to stay on the spa floor.  However, the steam rooms and sauna were well kept.

Everyone staff member was friendly and helpful.

You can be comfortable and just relax.  The Cruise Director was informative and friendly. She was totally fun to be around.  My room was clean and the bathroom was well supplied.  The towel animals made me smile.  The view every morning from the balcony loved it!  The food was plentiful and good to eat at every meal.  Guy's burgers were my favorite.  Getting off and on the ship was organized and orderly.  Luggage pick-up system on departure should extend the time.  Guest Services needs more help on the day of departure the lines are to long.  Caseur was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about the ships' services.  It was my first cruise and I enjoyed it all!
