A: Next time check 90 days out for it. people miss final payment and sometimes it opens up.
Answered by sarahpetty on October 28, 2024
A: This close to the Sailing date they are probably sold out.
Answered by Cp1771 on October 28, 2024
A: Depends upon how many platinums and diamonds there are on the sailing. There is a quota for first boarders and they sell more FTTFs when there are less upper status cruisers. The other poster was right too. Keep checking because if someone with FT... TF cancels they release it back for sale.See More
Answered by TheVegasSphere on October 29, 2024
A: yup, all answers correct! You are too close to sailing now you will not get FTTF now.

Q: How are the Spa Suites on Deck 12? You donât see many recent reviews or videos of them. I know they are the most forward cabins on that deck. Is the motion really that bad? We have 12001 booked for April 2026. Booked bc it has the rooms separated which will give our son his own space.

A: we had spa suite on sunshine about 5 years ago. You do feel a lot of motion. However, I found to be the case no matter where you were on that particular ship. We did enjoy the spa access. We never got seasick but you will feel motion
Answered by Ally57 on October 6, 2024
A: Was on that ship when it was Destiny and 3 more times as Sunshine. You'll feel a little bit of motion (as you do on all ships.), but it hasn't ever been too bad.
Answered by StefBri on October 6, 2024
A: Was on the Sunshine 3 weeks ago deck 7 and NO smells. This ship is definitely in our top 2. Love this ship

A: Was just on the sunshine a month ago and no smells at all. We were on deck 7
Answered by belfy on September 28, 2024
A: We have been on the Sunshine 9 or 10 times. The latest was Jan of this year. we never noticed and smell. We usually have cabins on decks 1,2 or 7.
Answered by NanMarie on September 23, 2024
A: We were on that ship in 2018 and didn't smell a thing
Answered by enjoyurdaysmile on September 22, 2024
A: never had smells but it is our least favorite Carnival ship..... all the common areas are jammed (too crowded) . This ship has too many people per square ft.
Answered by Bruce51 on September 23, 2024
A: I donât recall it being any worse when we were on it this past May than on any other ship. I think every cruise weâve been on had an odor or two at times, perhaps because people flush things they shouldnât.
Answered by TheVegasSphere on September 22, 2024
Q: If I purchased birthday room decor, am I supposed to keep it or leave it when I disembark? Itâs cute, but not cute enough to be charged more for putting it in my suitcase đ.

A: You can keep it or leave it. If you leave it the cruiseline will reuse it if itâs in good shape or toss it.

Q: If my boarding time is at 11 and I arrive earlyâŚsay 9:30, will I be able to board early with faster to the fun?
Thumbs Up
1
A: they will turn you away that early. But you will board after weddings, suites, diamond and platinum. That all happens after the previous guests have disembarked.
Answered by sopha on July 11, 2024
A: the time you choose is your arrival time for check in not boarding. once you check in you will board when it is your turn.
Answered by dlh22701 on July 11, 2024
A: No, probably not! First off, most ships do not start boarding until around 10:30 - 11:00. You will not board before Diamond and Platinum holders, even with FTF. But you should board right after them. The people who are disembarking the prior cruis... e will not be off the ship completely until around 9ish! Have fun!See More

Q: An odd question, to be sure. This ship was first named the Destiny. We cruised on that ship 3/5/2012 through 3/11/1012 (5-days). It was our very first Cruise. I have been looking everywhere to get the itinerary for that Cruise, to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction, or even better, provide the stops and dates? Canât be more than three. Pretty sure it left out of Ft Lauderdale, but that info is not on the Sail & Sign card (yes, I still have it). TIA

Answered by cbyron3 on April 6, 2024
A: some people are not much help. Can't find specific to your date, but earlier and later that year out of Miami. the only port that looks right is Key West. I saw Nassau and Half Moon Cay but can't associate either to your itinerary. Hope that help... s a little.See More

Answered by enjoyurdaysmile on April 6, 2024
A: Yes and No. Depending on how you want to track or have your account set up. You will want to use your card to track your points, and it is needed to "cash out," but you can either put cash in or charge your room. regardless when you cash out, it w... ill go to a separate account on your card. You can cash out at the casino counter at amy time.See More
Answered by dkantouth on March 29, 2024
A: you should use cash. If you use your sign and sail card at the table games you will be charged a percentage. I can't remember if it is 3% or 6%. In the slots no charge for using sns.

Answer QuestionA: We had a room on Deck 12, right at the door, to walk out into the serenity deck. You can hear the music when they have a deck party. But everything on Lido deck is over by 11 pm, so it didn't bother us.
Answered by dacatt on February 17, 2024
A: I was on that ship in 2018 and don't remember which deck we were on.

Q: Regarding the âformal nightâ⌠how formal is formal? We are going on the 4 or 5 day cruise as opposed to 7

A: I personally LOVE formal nights. I wear a long gown, get my hair done at the spa. I make sure we hit lots of photo backgrounds to get pictures. My husband wears a suit because he knows how much I enjoy dressing up.
Answered by Ally57 on February 9, 2024
A: I enjoy dressing up for dinner every night, but my husband is dark jeans, a nice button shirt and bootsâŚdoesnât get any more formal than that. And he never seems under dressed so that should give you an idea of the range. Carnival isnât real strict o... n this so pretty sure youâre good if you arenât in shorts and flip flops đ¤Ł.See More
Answered by Fam2Cruise on February 6, 2024
A: It's completely up to you! On Carnival, you don't have to do the "formal night" about 50% do it and they will dress in gowns and suits.
Answered by crusin4gramma on February 6, 2024
A: As formal as you want to be! we usually match our group...sometimes it is simply dress shirt others full dress suit
Answered by slang01 on February 6, 2024

A: There is a buffet which is includedâŚitâs not open all day though. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner but do close for a time between. Guys burgers, Blue Iguana (breakfast/lunch basic tacos/burritos), pizzeria, the main dining room (breakfast/dinne... r) and deli (hot and cold sandwiches) are all included. The Italian restaurant has free selections for lunch, but dinner has a nominal fee. LOTS of free options.See More
Answered by Fam2Cruise on November 28, 2023
A: Actually nothing is free. You paid for the cruise so The buffet, Main Dining Room, Guys Burgers and anything that you do not pay extra is what you paid for. Anything extra will be billed to your account.

A: generally the first sea day. Formal is up to you. We love dressing fully formal, gowns, suits or tuxedo, most go much more comfortable, and about half don't choose to dress up much at all. its really completely up to you. They will feed you regardl... ess :) Have fun with it.See More
Answered by cbyron3 on August 10, 2023
A: Some people go all out and wear black tie wedding attire. I think somewhere on carnival it says men should wear sports jacket, closed toe shoes and iâm not sure about the women. However these days you can wear pretty much anything that isnât beach we... ar or jeans. Majority of men wear pants with a button down shirt or polo shirt and women wear a nice summer dress or pants with a nicer top. Wear anything that makes you comfy in the end.See More
