I've been on many cruise ships, but this one was unfortunately the worst. What I disliked most was the poor manners of the passengers. Speak and laugh loudly without bothering other passengers. Whether in the hallway or on the balcony. I also smelled marijuana at times. Not only does it take a long time to get a meal, but the number of items is small. At the buffet, it seemed like we were in line for rations. I didn't feel comfortable on the deck, so I spent most of my time in the cabin.　I don't want to go on another similar cruise anymore.

we liked the cruise, except for the food. we tried to eat as healthy as possible and still got sick, which made it difficult to enjoy everything else. the entertainment, staff, and cleanliness/comfort was unmatched. I'd definitely return but please please offer better quality food.

Staff was great! I wish the people on the boat were more considerate and didn’t yell every night from midnight to 3 or 4 am. Also being pushed in the buffet line was something I don’t care to experience again. Islands were beautiful!

The cruise itself was outstanding! The team was superb! Details on information needed and should be included info with booking confirmation, would be helpful .

We really enjoyed the trip. It was beautiful, clean & the food & staff were wonderful. We'll go again.

I highly recommend this Cruise to anyone looking for a great itinerary and an easy ship to sail on.

Loved the dinner and all the raffles. Even got coupons for free stuff on shore.

All in all, had an amazing time. Crew were ALL engaged and attentive. Housekeeping did an amazing job ensuring everything was clean! Food was great, many options for all diets.

Had a great time but the seas were very rough so the placement of my room made me a little seasick. Overall I would go back again and again though, I had a fantastic time.

Overall, for my first experience on a cruise ship, I do not believe it was that bad. However, being nickel and dime for every everything from juice to having to rent a chair when you were at a certain port to not being able to enjoy the amenities was not something that I was prepared for nor did I appreciate. As mentioned before the staff and cruise, Director were amazing at their jobs. The boat was beautifully redone, and overall a good time was had, but I won’t be cruising anytime soon. Ill stick with the all inclusive and flying to a destination.

Will never cruise Carnival again. Bit and switch on excursions. Dirty. Unhappy crew. Just not worth it.

Gran cayman PORT WAS CANCELLED.... Very upset No credit, nothing. I feel like they knew before hand. I paid 1300 dollars ticket and 513 in tax and port expenses for jamaica and gran cayman the cruise think in keep my money they should give a fair refund . I choose to celebrate my wedding anniversary a cruise plus visit Jamaica and grand cayman but only get a horrible dissatisfaction and the food lines are always long. They are so unorganized and no one knows anything. First and last time on carnival

I share with you my experience with Carnival Sunrise Cruise. From my experience, I can tell you the following: - Luggage arrived in a reasonable time. We left it outside the terminal with the porters. - Room attendant Pat was super friendly and helpful. She was always attentive to our needs, and the cleaning service never interrupted our daily activities. - The room was very hot, and even though the temperature was reported to be within the acceptable range, it was uncomfortable. We requested a check, and they offered us a fan. The fan worked quite well. - Gratuity is not included for children under 2 years old. You can choose to give the tip in cash or add it to your account. Additional tips can also be left in envelopes. - Buffet was crowded during boarding, which seems to be a common occurrence. - Long lines to enter and pick up children from the camp. At least one night, they didn't charge us extra time for picking up the kids due to the long wait, but I waited for more than 20 minutes. It only happened the first night of the cruise; afterward, it was much easier. - The service at the Sunrise Restaurant was not satisfactory, with waitstaff being described as generally unfriendly and inattentive. The main issue is in the kitchen, where dishes take a long time to come out. Inconsistency in the availability of white bread at the restaurant. Caesar salad, roasted tomato soup, and roasted duck rolls were described as very tasty but served cold. Desserts are almost nonexistent; the most you can find is ice cream, cheese, and about two desserts that change daily. If you like cheesecake, they offer it best in a café bar on the ship that requires payment. My favorite dinner dish is a cordon bleu they offered one of the nights. - Limited services for children under 2 years old. No baby changing tables in public bathrooms, which I find unreasonable considering the cost of a child is the same as an adult, so the services for them should be better. Requesting a crib for a baby is important, but only a regular crib was provided instead of a playyard. - Entertainment activities are varied, but in general, I think they could organize better group parties. There aren't many outside of those held at the pool. - If you go to the port of Miami, I recommend parking right there at the pier for $22 per day. - I really liked the arcade, the candy store, and there are some shops for items, but it's more for people who like jewelry. - The experience is not necessarily bad, but considering the cost, I believe they could offer better service, and that seems to have been lacking lately in this cruise line.

Rough sailing, ship was moving back and forth the whole ship, most people on the ship were sick, service were horrible, gift shops were over prices , ship smelled like weed, people were fist fighting, couples were fist fighting in there rooms, kids were out of control, security is non existent, food was horrible. I will never cruise Carnival again.

We had a good time, ship clean, for the most part, staff is great! There should be security staff around the pool area and smoking area. My husband enjoys a cigar. In the smoking area, there was an awful lot of marijuana smoking. Pool area and hot tubs unruly children and marijuana vaping. We will not be taking a 4 night Thursday - Monday cruise again.

Overall it was very enjoyable. Biggest issue was debarking. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and friendly and the activities were a lot of fun.

Nice cruise for a first timer for the money. Would definitely do it again.

We chose this ship because the timing had minimal impact on 6 children missing school and we spent Thanksgiving on the ship. The dinner was great. The food overall was very good. However, this ship has very minimal areas for shade near any of the pool areas. Carnival uses the overhangs near the pool for food areas and tables. Very, very hard to find shade. If you like an extreme party atmosphere, this is for you.

The Carnival Sunrise is a horrible ship. It was overcrowded and has a horrible layout. If it was not for our wait staff, band, and performers our holiday family vacation would have been a huge disappointment.
