Review summary

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The line seemed very long and I had experienced a problem sailing from Miami years ago.. but they had many agents checking guests in and the line moved quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We we're assigned the Sunshine dining room which was great for views when the sun was out. It is on Deck 3 aft so a little more vibration from the engines but it was completely tolerable. We really enjoyed the variety of food experiences. We took advantage of Guy's burger joint, Blue iguana, Guy's pig and anchor, the Carnival deli, the pizzeria, and the lido buffet. Every night there was a good variety of menu options and we took advantage of the sea day brunch, as well as sit down breakfast in the dining room.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My daughter did the ropes course and used the fitness center. I used the hot tub in the back of the boat as well as Serenity.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I saw Derrick Eason perform on the last night. He was really funny. I also saw parts of a couple of shows and the Dr Seuss story time. I also enjoyed some of the solo guitar and Latin music performers and they were all great.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Both of my kids made friends in the clubs. They are older so they also enjoy the freedom to come and go from the program at their leisure.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward, Muli, was fantastic! All of the dining room staff we're highly pleasurable and attentive. All of the photography staff was helpful and interested in making sure we had great pictures.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We had a balcony cabin near an elevator on Deck 6. It was super easy to get to our dining room and other areas of importance on the ship. I think the layout of this ship was probably one of my favorite that I have been on due to the ease of use

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I only have one complaint about my cabin. The door that separated the balcony from the next cabins balcony knocked like a loose shutter in rough weather. It made it hard to sleep. I let a maintenance worker know but I don't feel there was anything that could have been done about it. the inside of the cabin was very comfortable for a party of four. The shower seemed a little larger than showers on other boats that I have experienced and there was ample room for everyone's clothing in the closets and drawers.

Ports of call

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
I recommend going to Dunn's River Falls at this port

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
I recommend going to Stingray City at this port

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
My husband got sick in the middle of the cruise and they accommodated him with a wheelchair on the day of disembarkation. The process was pretty smooth and I we appreciated the great breakfast choices on that morning
