The food was not very good and not much choice. The rooms were clean and pleasing. Not any shows except the mariachi band. The kids did like their activities. The waiter;s were very efficent. I;ll will not use Carnival again.

Accessibility was at times irritating as one could only get to some areas by going up or down to another level.

wasn't impressed with ship. Lacking things to do during stay on ship. Entertainment wasn't up to pare.

The ship was ok. I have been on several trips and the ship is average compared to the others. One of the things that I liked least was the service on the ship. Most everyone that serviced up was either put off by us or rude. We ended up only going to the formal dinner one time on the ship. Our service was terrible and very rude. Needless to say, we ate at the buffet every night.

Great balcony cabin, bedding mediocre. Dining food was good but buffet food was very limited selection and some poor quality food in the buffet

Service was good and plenty to do but the decor was heinous and the food was poor.

The ship was old, the service was not great and the food was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this boat/cruise line.

Ship was great, I asked to be moved due to the 4am parties going on in the rooms next door and in the hallways, no one would listen! My family got no sleep for 5 of the 7 nights we were there!!!!!!

Overall impression of the ship that it was very clean and fit the needs of my cruise experience.

As veteran cruisers, we have sailed quite a few cruise lines, and the food on Carnival is topnotch. This voyage led us to two delightful ports--Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, both gems. I like the new policy that does not allow reserving deck chairs. The ship saves some hot tubs and pools for adults, which is nice.

The dining was the best part of the trip. Alexander (spelled wrong) was the best waiter I have ever had, and this was my 7th cruise! We thought we got in just before spring break, but it was the first week of spring break :( Immature party animals are irritating! I think that the cleaning staff were probably overwhelmed with all of the partying slobs, but we did not get the service that I have received in the past. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the entertainment. The comedy shows were great, but there were not any broadway style shows or operas. Overall it was a very enjoyable trip :)

WE HAD A GREAT TIME. WEATHER WAS FANTASTIC. ROOM WITH BALCONY WORTH EVERY DIME SPENT. ROOMS SPACIOUS, CLEAN AND SERVICE UNBELIEVABLE!! LOVED THE ANIMAL TOWELS AND MINTS WE GOT EVERY NIGHT. BATHROOMS AND LIVING AREA CLEANED FOR US TWICE A DAY!!! EVEN THE ICE WAS ALWAYS FILLED IN OUR ICE BUCKETS TWICE A DAY!!! IMPRESSED!

Fun cruise - other than the weather which wasn't Carnivals fault. Loved the deco decor. Rooms bigger than expected for 3 adults on lower level. Lots of food selection. Definitely a cruise for a younger family - lots of screaming running kids. Lots of room inside ship to read a book or lounge. Pools & hot tub close way too early!

The employees are very pleasant and work very hard.

We recently sailed on the Carnival Splendor, and we had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean, the food was great, and the entertainment is continuous. This was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations, highly recommended!!!

Great vacation

We love the Splendor! As a first time cruiser we were in awe at the ship and all it has to offer, which far exceeded our expectations.

The Decor of the the ship is awful. They need better signage at the elevators,to small. The door to the balcony's open out which is a pain. The bartenders at the Adult pool do not give you the time of day. The maitre D at the Gold restaurant just pointed to where are table was, did not walk us over . The Techno music in the gym was loud and it played over and over.When most people have i pods or are older do not need that type music.I found the switch and turned it down several times and told the gym trainer to turn it down but he would latter turn back up. The glass was dirty and water stained in the Spa. The Piano bar was bright,and looked like a Ruby's diner. To much smoke in the Casino, The room was nice and so was our attendant.

This was the first time I have sailed Carnival in over 20 years. It appears to me to not be the 20's party ship it was on my first sailing, but still offered a great atmosphere and plenty of parties if you were looking for that. The decor was very nice and in the "carnival" style. The spa was outstanding. After sailing with Princess for the last 20 years, the Carnival Splendor cruise provided MUCH more that I had anticipated. I enjoyed the trip and spa. My only complaint was related to my sisters disappointing spa experience. My own spa experience was excellent. The spa manager offered nothing to my sister when she walked out of her 90 minute seaweed/masssage appointment when 20 minutes into the appointment the therapist was still trying to upsale her and had not even started her treatment. My own massage therapist Vi, was excellent so ask for her. Loved this trip.

The ship seems out dated as far a decor, especially in the staterooms. The food left a lot to be desired. Other than those two items I thought the overall experience was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was also very good.
