Our cruise was amazing. It was so restful and relaxing. I can hardly wait to take another cruise.
Embarkation

I do not know how carnival makes an embarkation so easy with over 3000 people trying to get off at the same time. But they do it. We were Concerned that we would miss our 11:30 am travel arrangements to get home. We were off with over an hour to spare … Thank you Carnival !!!

Food and Dining

I mostly used the buffet to keep within my dietary needs. Always a good selection of foods that I could eat. I really appreciated the salad bar and the fresh fruit selection.… Particularly the cut up fruit (also fresh). All of the food was so d all of the food was great.
Onboard Activities

I use a walker so some activities were out for me. But I had fun just the same watching others on the ones I could not participate in. And so many things going on all over the ship. I will have to take another cruise to experience Everything that was offered
Entertainment

I caught a couple of the shows and they were good. I particularly enjoyed the music all around the ship. Good selection of songs from each entertainer.

Service and Staff

The service was wonderful from all of the staff. I use a walker and am easily able to navigate everything myself. But always someone was asking if they could help me in anyway. Everyone always had a smile on their face. Such a hard-working staff. You didn’t see anyone standing around. All of them were so busy. Our room steward was Allen. All of us loved Allen.. he was very helpful to answer any of our questions. Our room was always spotless. Allen is Fast and efficient. Allen is Definitely an asset for carnival.
Ship Quality

The layout of the ship was great. So many things in that area of space. The only thing that bothered me was not knowing how to get from one Deck to another as sometimes you had to go up or down another floor to continue to where you wanted to be . But there was almost always someone there to direct me a bit. The ship was extremely clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was very clean. Lots of storage for the three of us ,we had totally over packed. There were 9 of us…with 2 inside cabins And our balcony cabin…so we congregated in our balcony cabin often. Even with nine people hanging out we did OK. We are ready to go back already !!
Ship tip
Don’t overpack. And if you have any apprehensions about taking a cruise… Don’t. You will have a great time On Carnival splendor
We did a lot of our souvenir shopping at Cabo. Two of our party went on the carnival dolphin excursion. They absolutely loved it they bought the picture package afterwards.
This is where our party of nine spent the day in the water on the beach. We took a taxi to Gold Beach and played in the water all afternoon.
People from the ship are able to use this resorts swimming pool and beach. We all had a wonderful time
Probably my favorite port as we were able to get out and explore some. The old cobblestone streets and an old church there were my favorites. We walked along the boardwalk and did more souvenir shopping
I was very concerned that we would not make our 1130 connection to come back home. My worry was needless. We enjoyed a good breakfast and listened to The announcements. we were off of the ship with more than an hour to spare
