We had a great time on this cruse. On the first night we participated in the LGBT meet up and met a few other queer couples. We ended up spending a lot time of time with these couples and became friends. This really added to my cruse experience and I would recommend checking out the LGBT meet up to any LGBTQIA person that may be cruising.

Food and Dining

The dining room staff rebreed our names and our drink orders. It was great eating there. It felt like my favorite restaurant at home and I'm a regular that all the staff like to see.

Ora at the El Mojito was great! We loved hanging out with her. She was professional and kind and made great drinks. The LGBT meet up was at the El Mojito and it was a very welcoming experience to have an LGBT bar tender there.

Service and Staff

Our steward, Darvin, and his staff were wonderful. We were always greeted the we saw them in the hall. They always did a great job with our room!
Ora at the El Mojito bar was always very welcoming. She learned our names, the El Mojito quickly became our favorite bar to get drinks! I cannot say how much interacting with her added to my cruise experience.
Feda was not particularly nice, I felt ignored and disregarded.
Adam in the fun squad was great. He danced with us and made sure we felt welcome. Marq was a great cruise director.

Loved the size, loved the balcony, no complaints
Ship tip
Take note of the decks/floors that go all the way from the front to the back. You'll be walking around the ship a lot and you want to get oriented quickly.
Beloved, we're going in late April so you'll be on a different sailing but I'm trying to organize a more active LGBT Gathering on our trip. The official gathering is the first night (Sat) at 10pm in the El Mojito bar, and I'm thinking about advertising an unofficial (organized by me, not Carnival) gathering for every night in El Mojito at 10 pm. I think it would be fun to turn the bar into a gay bar for a few hours a night. Also, someone mentioned in another post that the bartender is LGBT (lesbian I assume, but you never know) and that she is amazing. I think he said her name is Ona.
Anyway, maybe you could help organize some unofficial meetups for your cruise, aside from the one official "Gathering."
Whatever you decide to do I hope you and your family have an amazing vacation!
Thanks for the great review. Sounds like you had a great time.
I'll be going in a couple of weeks (5) and I plan on attending the LGBT Gathering. I'll say hi to Ora for you.
What food was your favorite? Did you try/like the Indian food? How was the BBQ?
