Review summary

The Carnival staff was amazing. The views at each port were great. However, down one star because the port times were way too short.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Wonderful food with wonderful staff. Great variety of foods each day.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The fitness center had beautiful views, however some of their equipment was a little faulty and outdated. The steam room was very hot, but happy to have one there. Their jacuzzis were too lukewarm which was surprising because their pools were hotter than the jacuzzi.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not all the stage shows were great, however I truly enjoyed the Rock show. Their stand-up was okay, some were good and some were not.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Each person working on the ship went above and beyond. They made the cruise for me.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was perfect! The staff was so great in keeping everything clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cleanliness of our cabin was great, our steward Desak was amazing!

Ship tip

If you go on the Alaska trip, make sure to be outside during Tracy Arm Fjord passage and go swimming or Jacuzzi with your party during that time. Also, go during April so you can see the northern lights from the ship during the times 11pm to 2am.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Easy onboarding and offboarding.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

Absolutely beautiful sites! No excursion but not needed. Staying on the ship and seeing the mountains and glacier was enough. I don't even think the expensive excursion to go closer to the glacier is even worth it.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
The White Pass & Yukon train was absolutely stunning!!!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
The Medenhall Glacier with Nugget Falls hike was such a great site to see. Take the shuttle to get there and you don't have to pay at the glacier and hike.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Didn't do any excursions but the town itself was so beautiful. There's a small, free hike in the town called Married Man's trail. The creek town shops where Dolly house is was a great passage walk.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Beautiful place to see with the Empress, RC Museum, and Parliament in one area. Take the shuttle to get there or walk to there from the ship and visit Holland Point Park, Mile 0, and Beacon Hill Park on the way to those three stunning buildings.

Disembarkation

SO quick. Very happy.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Did the times change after you booked your cruise? Sorry if that happened. Glad you enjoyed your cruise even if you thought the times were too short.
