Review summary

Overall, this was a good cruise. The crowd seemed to be over the age of 65 which may be due to the Tampa port. It was great to lay out on the balcony; most balconies do not allow the space to lay out. We did enjoy the comedians. We were occupied the whole time on the ship. Needed rest afterwards

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the fitness center, basketball, mini golf, ping pong, comedy shows and the love and marriage game. The rest of the activities were average

Entertainment

3 out of 5
DJs played the same late 90's music every night. Bands and entertainers/dancers were average. We enjoyed the comedians

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room Steward, Bagus, was excellent. Wait staff was good but most of the time forgot to bring coffee at the end of the dinners

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean but we did not like the decor. The layout was ok; there's always a learning curve.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Balcony had enough room to extend your legs/lay out, but the room had not been updated with upgraded electrical outlets; only 1 outlet and no USB

Ship tip

Only 1 electrical outlet in the room. The ship caters to a senior group

Does the pride use the cell for most everything, the way Mardi Gras does?

The Pride is an older ship. Thanks for the review

Even the updated ships ha e very limited outlets. I don't know that it's a "caters to older crowd" situation, as much as the general idea of a cruise is to unplug, get off grid. Personally I want to turn off my phone and not touch it for a week other than maybe to use for pictures
