Review summary
As frequent cruise travelers,22 & counting, we were somewhat disappointed in the quality of entertainment which usually has been good on our Carnival cruises but found to be somewhat uninspiring this time around. We also found the selection of food to be limited and the amounts served in the dining room to be smaller than the dinners we've had on our many cruises. On an upbeat, we found the wait staff to be very good as was the cabin staff. We are hoping that our next Carnival cruise in January on the "Splendor" will be better.

Ship tip
Don't buy the bargain sale watches with metal bands from the gift shop as there are no instructions on how to adjust the band (which are set for people with very large wrists). I was told to bring the watch to a jewelry shop when I get home to have the band adjusted.

Have sailed the Splendor twice, and really enjoyed it. Great staff, and they are one of the last Carnival ships to still have the live band as of now. Kevin, the Cruise Director is a hoot too. You will like him. Oh, and make sure when you are there to visit the Piano Bar. Christine is AWESOME! (Tell her "Yanni" said Hi for me.) :)
