Review summary

Our goal was to not do much. We never got off the ship until we returned. Luckily for us, we are early risers and managed to get a covered sunbed in Serenity, the Adult only area, everyday. They need many more of these as they are very popular. Serenity also was usually very crowded on sea days so it probably needs to be bigger.

i have found that the wait staff are amazing people... put yourself in their shoes for a day before you complain.

I was on the Sunshine a few months back & loved it.  Wee Jimmy was the cruise director. Loved him. The ship was spotless, staff was excellent.  Didn't run into the lounge chair problem but I also know not to book during high kid season( spring break & school vacations)  Mokie that was in charge of the brick oven knew to have my specialty pizza waiting at midnight every night. Our waiters for anytime dining were fantastic. The hosted got us seats in the same section every night. We even had Trinidad to our house when he was in over night port. Your cruise is what you make of it. i go to relax & have fun. The staff have always gone way beyond for me but it might be because I treat them as people instead of just wait staff.  Happy cruising everyone.

I agree about the serenity deck needing more covered chairs. Every morning I would get up and go out first thing to get a chair and they were all ready taken. When we went on the Freedom we did not have this problem. Maybe the Sunshine in April will not be that bad. Happy Cruising!!!

There's signs that say you're not supposed to reserve it for more than 40 minutes, but staff and others guests aren't rude enough to enforce it.

Do you keep it all day by placing something on it? Or are you using it and then leaving? Just curious.
