While I my wife and I have only been on one other cruise this by far was the the better of the two.  The room was larger with lots of room.  Although this was an older ship it was very well kept, and the crew could not have been better.  Entertainment was top notch along with the food.  For our next cruise we will be looking for this same boat it wasn't the biggest but when we are happy with our experience why change/  

All seven of the family, including our 98 year old Grandpa enjoyed the trip.  Great food, entertainment and destinations.  Everyone was very friendly.  Only difficulty was maneuvering a transport chair over some of the areas on the ship.

Overall the cruise was good. The ship was old and did not have the amenities of newer ships, ie. larger balconies, interactive TV, speciality restaurants, larger pools. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the excursion we booked with Carnival was great. 

I took my wife on this cruse for her 50th b day, this is our 6th one.  It was ok nothing special.  Food was ok, entertainment was ok, boat was out of date. Like I said nothing special just ok

The Carnival Paradise has a great staff that takes pride in what they do and works hard to make sure each guest feels special and has a good time.  The food is always good and we find the value of a Carnival cruise outstanding.

Everything worked out great. No hitches or annoyances. The shows were great and the performance by the RaptorPak brought back a lot of memories. The only thing I and my wife were disappointed with were the main entree on 4 of the 5 nights. Good thing the appetizers/desserts were good as well as the great service by our Filipino dining crew. They were eager and enthusiastic to please us in every way. Oh, the other reason why I did not give it a 4 star is because we got sick the last day which took 2 days for us to recover from. We still will be cruising with Carnival as long as the service and the entertainment is great.

My wife and I were very pleased with the service of the Carnival staff. Everybody was courteous and easy to deal with. The food was great. Entertainment was very good. We were waitlisted for anytime dining, but had to settle for the late dining time. We would have preferred the earlier time, because the more family oriented entertainment (particularly the comedy acts), is only available in the earlier evening. We don't care for the vulgarity used in the late comedy acts. We do enjoy shopping in the gift stores, and particularly enjoyed the different sales that went on.  Our stateroom was clean and pleasant, and the bed was very comfortable. Disembarkation was handled really well. We carried our luggage on, and found this to be the quickest we ever got off a ship.  Overall we had a great time and would certainly consider Carnival again.

This was my first Carnival cruise and it was overall a pleasure.  In my opinion the food was great. A few dishes were just O.K.. The warm chocolate melting cake in the dining room was exceptional.  Our first bar encounter was a bartender named Elidar. She remembered our names for the entirety of the cruise and was extremely friendly.  The comedy shows were top notch and we went every night. Beds were extremely comfortable.   

Everything went smooth and kids enjoyed it. We would have liked a few more family events like a movie theater, show in the evening but overall good time. Staff is very nice and ship was clean at all times.

The ship itself is uninviting and less than grand. The Carnival Paradise lacked in on board entertainment, food quality and cleanliness.  There was little entertainment unless you wanted to see the cruise director juggle. The food was repetitive and bland but there were many choices from different venues. The public bathrooms were unkempt and the unisex restroom outside the buffet was filthy at all times. This was my 4th cruise, 3 Carnival and one Royal Caribbean. I debated whether to try Carnival again because I wasn't  overly impressed with the other 2 but decided to give it one more shot because the price was right. It's  true what they say, you get what you pay for. Don't  waste  your money. 

we loved the cruise but thought the music and DJ were very loud on the upper deck pool area. The food was great at dinner.  The staff was exceptional and very impressive. we will most likely book another cruise in the future.

We were not sure what to expect,  the rooms were lovely very spacious.  Staff was always helpful and friendly.  Wish we had picked an early diner time so we could enjoy the entertainment at night.  Looking forward to our next cruise. As for the shore excursion I probably wouldn't not do one if the boat was arriving early in the morning, at least not the all inclusive anyway.  Food was a little salty, so we order our breakfast everyday.   Over all lots to do on the boat when at see.  If the cruise line could change anything,  you should offer different drink programs, so you don't have to purchase a drink card for everyday.  

Our cruise experience was amazing. This is our first trip on Carnival cruise. The room was big enough and had bunk beds that can accommodate 4 people comfortably. my older kid loved the carnival camp. my only complaint is that they had repetitive food.

This was my first cruise so I didn't know what to expect, but I guess I expected more. We had 2 full days at sea, and the boat had very limited activities so we did them all on the first day and had nothing left to do. The deck was overcrowded and the pool was full of kids and out of the question so we spent more time in our room then anything. Staff was really nice, except for Emmanual the shore excursion guy, he kept giving off attitude, but restaurant staff and room stewards were great. Food was ok, it seemed pretty hit and miss each night, but lines for pizza and sandwiches were way too long. Shore time in Cozumel was great because we had 8 hours and could walk off the boat, we booked non-carnival activities and had a blast. Shore time in Grand Cayman was terrible; we only had a few hours, and the tendering process takes FOREVER. Luckily we had a carnival activity, so they let us get an earlier tender then our ticket, if not we would have probably not gotten off the boat at all. Our snorkelling trip ran out of time before we got to snorkel, the staff there didn't seem to know what they were doing, so we just had a bad experience there and didn't see a thing. I would only recommend doing a carnival excursion in order to get a tender off the boat! 

Overall, not a bad week, but not an amazing one I was hoping for. Next time I will try for a bigger ship with more activities and space.

This was my very first cruise and I absolutely loved it!! I loved every minute of it, the places we stopped (Grand Cayman, and Cozumel). I was ready to book another cruise before we even got off this one.

One of the worst experience starting with your company who used  deceptive business practices. I tried to cancel and kept getting put into limbo hold for hours so that the 3 days would pass and then you all said non-refundable.  Your company might have screwed me, but I AM involved in the travel industry and have contacted EVERYONE I know to let them know.  Since you book with Carnival I have also notified them as well and my Bank.  

Literally one of the best experiences of my life. The cruise staff were some of the friendliest and most considerate people I have ever met. The stateroom met expectations, and the dining experiences were delicious. The food served at dinner was always served well and I actually ordered something that I ended up not liking (not because of quality but just the honey glaze that my chicken was cooked in was to sweet for my tooth) and they kindly changed my dish at no charge. Of course, you shouldn't take advantage of that for your own benefit but the fact that they are willing to help in any way they can makes being on this cruise so much more than just how much money it costed. There is after hours food buffet as well to satisfy the late night eaters which I frequently partook in. There are so many activities throughout the day that you do not want to miss out on and everything is organized so neatly in the daily FunTimes brochure delivered daily to your room or available at guest services. The comedy shows were hilarious and the Rex nightclub had excellent music selections and themes. The piano bar was delightful to listen to and sing along with the songs. All of the employees, whether it was a bartender, cook, performer, or stateroom attendant were always happy to help any way they could and kept comforting smiles on their faces while they did their work. The value of this trip surpasses the price hands down. The quality of the cruise line is not in question, on this trip, the experience is what you make it. I definitely plan on cruising again with Carnival in the future.

We enjoyed this cruise. Food was very, very bland & the only good coffee cost extra. Our cabin steward, Martin, was fantastic. I felt like the debarkation process was chaotic and unorganized ( both in the Grand Cayman & back at port. I feel like the boat tender tickets could have been delivered to each stateroom and that would have been less chaos. After arriving back in Tampa, people had sent their luggage for zone debarkation and then got off with self assist and allowed to go pick up their luggage. Those several hundred people should have had to wait for the zone debarkation to start.

I should have realized that every single college student would be on Spring Break.  But didnt know they would be all on our ship.  Lots of loud drunken college student.  Would have preferred a bit more quiet.  I am all about partying but when they are passed out in the hallway by the elevators to drunk to find their rooms.  Or we are woken up at 5:00 am because someone never came back to their room and passed out in some guys room instead its a bit much.  

I was also disappointed with the buffet at lunch and just the food in general.  The boat is pretty outdated the rooms were ok could be updated as well.  Don't buy the cheers beverage package unless you are a heavy drinker.  I thought it would be a good bargain but i had trouble keeping up and by the time the cruise ended i felt so sick from all the citrus and booze it made it not worth it.  

I don't think I would do another carnival cruise, I would spend the money and do a Disney or Celebrity.  

We enjoyed our cruise. It did seem that the boat was old. The lido buffet area had a flood once near the ice cream area. The boat made a lot of noise when we were sleeping. The pool area didn't have enough chairs for everyone. 

The spa was lovely, but the sauna and steam didn't work all the time. We enjoyed the shows but they didn't have a show each night with the dancers and singers.
