Alaska is in my bucket lists. I thought after this cruise, it will be like…..”been there, done it” for me. But, no. I would want to come back again. I’d like more time in Juneau, and maybe go to a different port, like Ketchikan and Sitka next time. I want to see another glacier, so hopefully I can do another Alaskan cruise again in the future.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
The worst embarkation I have ever had. They made passengers lined up under the sun for hours, with the luggages. They said the porters will be coming to get them, which they did at first…but after a few minutes, they just take the luggages off the newly arrived passengers who were not in line yet, but gives them tips. The people who were waiting for wheelchair assistance waited for hours. The entrance to the building was still full with passengers getting off the ship. It was so disorganized.

Food and Dining

Main dining room looks great. Buffet is good.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment

The Take Two Duo was great. Anywhere they perform, (alchemy bar or the lobby) it’s hard to get any seats. It’s always standing room only. They have a very good repertoire and they accommodate any song requests no matter what the genre is. They could do rock, country, love songs and even party songs. Carol is very good in remembering names. She greets passengers by names every time. They are both talented. We look forward to seeing them in our future cruises.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
My 5 year old grandson didn’t like to stay at camp ocean at first, but when he saw the available toys, he decided to stay. After the first night, he looked forward to going there everyday. He said there’s a lot of activities and he had fun every time.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our waiters are the best. Leslie and I.Wayan. I.Wayan made sure we always had a wonderful dinner. He catered to our individual needs. The service was really good. He made our dining experience memorable. I wish our future waiters will be like him.

Ship Quality

I didn’t like the fact that there is no promenade on this ship like the others. You have to walk THROUGH the casino to get to the theater lounge.
The ship is clean
Cabin / Stateroom

The extended balcony is nice. It was clean. The bed is comfortable.
We didn’t have enough time at this port. Again, the tendering process was so disorganized. We have an excursion and was made to wait in the theater. And then, they guided us to deck 1. But we were standing in line at the hallways for almost an hour, which I don’t understand because they could have just let us wait in the theater. The hallways were crowded with passengers and were all sweating because everyone is wearing warm clothes but of course, it was so hot in the hallway. I’m not surprised that the ship had a covid outbreak because that situation alone could have been a spreader. We were like sardines in a tin can while waiting for the water shuttle.
I wasn’t expecting much at this port because of the reviews I read , but surprisingly, I liked it very much. We loved the tram and the hike we did. We rode the tram 3x so we can soak in the wonderful views. We took the free van ride to the little town which was ok, nothing much to see. The walk back to the pier, we got to see a lot of whales.
Debarkation is quick and easy but different. Immigration officers came onto the ship and checked our passports/ documents right before we step off. We lined up by the casino through the theater. I’m not sure if it’s because there’s a lot of Covid cases in this sailing or they are looking for somebody or something specifically. But as soon as we step off the ship, we got our luggages and got out.
Again, it was very crowded once you exit the building.
We felt the same way after our first cruise to Alaska the first week of September we now have another cruise booked that adds another port that we didn’t get to see
