Review summary

Went too fast as always. A little unorganized on the ship, but, nothing gave us any problems. The crews is awesome as always. The crews of these big ships are what makes Carnival great, not the corporate money draining idiots up top.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

One of the worst tours we had. Whale watching was a joke, guy had a 1400HP boat and drove 20 mph to the view, while we watched other boats go fast to watch the whale breaching. Drove so far away from land it was impossible to see anything even with binoculars. Then went to see bears that were not there. Met a couple at dinner on board and they took a private tour and saw 10 times as much for the same cost. Town was really amazing. I suggest they quit charging $50/person to ride a gondola, when it is running constantly with no one in it. Kind of stupid. $50 for a pair maybe, anything else is a ripoff. Nice walking trails.

One of the most beautiful towns you will ever see. Wish we had more than 4 hours at this port. Thank you to the town of Victoria for letting us port there. Would love to see your town again and take some tours.
