Check your table assignment as soon as the dining room opens to avoid disappointment. This is the second year in a row we were placed in a group seating environment. Last year we did not know in time and could not be accommodated. We are gold cruisers which surely isnt royalty but it does indicate some degree of loyalty to carnival which i believe should be reciprocated with good table assignments. Unfortunately, one cannot make seating requests at the time of booking.

Get to the Lido before 3:00 pm on embarkation day and read the Fun Times for activities AND dining hours the night before. Of course get to shows 30 minutes early and don't miss adults comedy shows if your humor is broad.

Guy's BBQ on embarkation day. Go directly to level 5 and eat at the ocean plaza. Guys BBQ is only open on embarkation and sea days. After eating there, go to the Lido if you want more!!!! Also, with Covid changes, the safety brief is so much better. Get that knocked out early. Also, if you are due free bottles of water (Red VIFP or higher) go to any bar to get your bottles as it will not be in your room. If you are Gold VIFP or higher, go to the photography counter to get your cruise pins. This was like a mini scavenger hunt and we did it all before sale away.

It was just a bit hard to navigate the layout. We got lost quite a few times. Some of the floors did not go to the opposite end of the ship. Took us a few days to get famiiar with the layout.
