We had such a wonderful time. Everything was great and if it wasn't, we didn't dwell on it. We enjoyed being with our best friends, the ports, the ship, the food, the entertainment. All of it!

This was my first cruise and also the start to my cruising addiction! I absolutely had an amazing time. I love visiting the ports and learning about the culture. The staff on the magic were all very polite and amazing.

It was an 8 Night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Magic. Sailing dates were July 8th through July 16th, 2023. Calling to the ports of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic and Grand Turk, Turks, and Caicos. We had 4 sea days between leaving and returning to Norfolk, Virginia.

Was our first cruise we loved it and are hooked on cruising have a cruise coming up June 2018 to the Bahamas

Ok Iam going to start by saying this cruise ship was my overall favorite I've been on. Good Delish all around the board family time games awesome. And entertainment mind blowing. Sameer was my favorite show on a cruise and he's mind blowing..hope we see him again, and hoping he will still be there when we go back. Now for the not so great about Carnival Magic .....1. The floor the casino on smells so bad cause of the smoking all over the casino. I wish there was doors or better ventilation, is needed way more ventilation then they have. And to make it worse there's all kind of family games at the ocean plaza where all the kids and there family goes . And right next to it , yep you guessed it the smoking casino.😷🤢. Now your security could be way better. We sat next to whole group of adults and there teen kids and all week they were all drunk like bad fall in the floor drunk.. and no one would tell them to clam down . And it put a damper on the other tables around them. But the last night we were there at the late dinner finally the security was being called cause one lady feel out of her chair again and I guess around her got tired of there drunken crazy mess. But if that can be fixed it's a perfect ship.

I guess “brief overview” is the key here. We again thoroughly enjoyed our first repeat cruise on the Carnival Magic to our three favorite ports. The entire crew was always polite, friendly, fun and helpful in spoiling us during the entire cruise. The Cruise Director, Louis, was the best that we have experienced so far. We are getting older so the only possible “negative” we experienced was being very tired after having so much fun but that made it a little easier to return home to rest up before we start planning our next cruise. Cruising is great for us and I hope everyone can enjoy their cruise or vacation experience just as much or more. 😎🚢☀️🩴🏝🪸🐠🌺🙏🏻. Thankful and blessed and expecting the best because the best is yet to come.

Amazing trip! We went when Hurricane Matthew was hitting the Caribbean so it was a little rough but not bad at all our captain kept us up to date on what was happening. Dr. E was the best cruise director I’ve ever had. Loved his morning song!

Best vacation ever! Love cruising, no other way compares! If you’re on the fence...GO! And take FUN people if you can or just meet new ones 😁

We were a family of 3 cruising in a Suite and Balcony cabins. We cruise often, but only 2nd Carnival Cruise. We read so many nightmare reviews, that we weren’t sure what to expect. We enjoyed the cruise immensely. All food was delicious, just poor selections in self serve area of buffet ( breakfast and lunch) , but what they had tasted fine. We never eat dinner in the buffet, as we enjoy sit down service. Ship layout is odd, poor flow

Second cruise on the Magic in eight months.  Love the ship, the crew, the itinerary and our fellow passengers.

  There were some significant differences since last May.  Scheduled check-in was a boon. When you go online you can select the time you want to check in, they offer times beginning at 11:00 a.m. in half hour blocks. You can arrive later, but you cannot enter the terminal earlier than your scheduled time. Makes for less confusion and chaos.

 The Hub app is marvelous! Deck plans, downloadable Fun Times for the entire week that will even alert you to upcoming events you mark as favorites. The app is free and does NOT require you to purchase anything. Put your phone on airplane mode and your connected to the ship's wi fi.  There IS  charge if you want wifi for social connection.

 You can add the chat feature to connect with others who have signed up for it. Chat is only a one time charge of $5.00 for the entire cruise. No more walkie-talkies or highlighters, yippee.

 This was our best, most memorable cruise EVER, partially due to the fact that we went (unofficially) as Santa and Mrs. Claus. Passengers and crew alike treatedus quite well.

 Schwartz,; the cruise director, was awesome.  He was everywhere, engaging as many folks as possible.  A large part of our success was due to his constant referral to Santa whenever he saw us (which was often).

 There were a few snags as can be (or should be) expected with so many people trying to accomplish a common goal. (Dining, embarking and disembarking, going to shows, etc)

 We met so many wonderful, gracious and helpful people, it was truly a memorable

voyage.

Overall our cruise was great, any day spent not at work is great and being on vacation with family and friends makes it even better. We def plan to sail the Magic again in the future to do the things we didn't get to do on this cruise. The Southern Caribbean was beautiful and we can't wait to go back!

From start to finish everything was great. Carnival will take care of you especially to ensure your safety. The decision to change itinerary was no fault of carnival but to make sure we would be safe and enjoy cruising on the beautiful blue seas. I always cruise Carnival, have for 13 years.

Overall had a very inexpensive, relaxing, enjoyable cruise. Cruise was free as part of Casino deal (except taxes and fees). Because of that, and because we also got free drinks in casino and $1,000 in FunPlay as part of Cruise deal, we decided not to book any excursions or spend much money on the cruise. Just wanted to relax and enjoy a nice quiet vacation. Was able to do that and more. All snags we ran into were really to be expected since we were cruising during the height of the covid surge. Considering everything, crew did a great job and we had an amazing cruise.

I am very happy with my first cruise, I have already booked my next cruise for the Mexican Rivera for next summer.

This was a group cruise with Joh Heald FFS #5, was one of my favorite ships so far, we enjoyed every moment, staff was wonderful, activities with John Heald were hilarious, he is a Fun For Sake guy.

Our first time on the Magic and our first time to the Eastern Caribbean. Would definitely do again.

This was the first leg of our first Back to Back (B2B) making this really a 2 week adventure. For this leg of the cruise, the seas a were rough and the ship was a bit rocky for the first 2 days. Then the last evening, it was extremely rocky. If the door to the bathroom wasn’t latched it would bang open and shut. We both slept well with this rocking. We were the only ship at each port of call on this leg of our journey. That has never happened before!

Had a wonderful Cruise and a great Carnival vacation cant wait to plan our next one.

Overall, this was probably the worst of the 3 cruises I have been on with Carnival, but it was still great. The issues we had were minor and we would definitely sail with Carnival again!
