I guess “brief overview” is the key here. We again thoroughly enjoyed our first repeat cruise on the Carnival Magic to our three favorite ports. The entire crew was always polite, friendly, fun and helpful in spoiling us during the entire cruise. The Cruise Director, Louis, was the best that we have experienced so far. We are getting older so the only possible “negative” we experienced was being very tired after having so much fun but that made it a little easier to return home to rest up before we start planning our next cruise. Cruising is great for us and I hope everyone can enjoy their cruise or vacation experience just as much or more. 😎🚢☀️🩴🏝🪸🐠🌺🙏🏻. Thankful and blessed and expecting the best because the best is yet to come.

Although the Magic began service in 2011 everything we used worked correctly and the crew was constantly cleaning. This was our first repeat Carnival cruise on the same ship and itinerary and it is becoming our favorite ship along with our favorite destinations.
Cabin / Stateroom

We really like the quiet front area of the ship. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. Everything worked properly. Our cabin steward, Julius, did a great job.
Ship tip
Take the time to research your many many cruise line and itinerary options that YOU will freely choose. There are so many online information videos available so that YOU will be able to make the best choices for YOU or your family. The Carnival Magic is a great ship that I thoroughly enjoy and don’t hesitate to recommend but the research you do in making your choice is always freely yours. Cruising may not be for everyone but I believe everyone should try it based on their research and not blame others for disappointing experiences. Real cruisers are great to be around and they make cruising great for everyone around them. We have only been on 10 cruises but have enjoyed all of them. I hope you enjoy whatever type of vacation you choose and remember that passing that fun around to others is contagious in the best way. 😎🚢☀️🩴🏝🪸🐠🌺🙏🏻
This was our second visit to Amber Cove and we enjoyed even more than the first time. The water was much clearer and more colorful. I think on our first visit either the ship stirred up the water more or maybe a preceding storm did but it was murkier and dull near the pier area then but this time it was clear and beautiful. When the water is clear and the sun rises up high it is like plugging in Christmas lights because all the colors come to life. We enjoyed the shops, the places for photo oops. We spent our poolside time near the kids pool with less people but still enjoyed the atmosphere and music from the larger pool area.It was warm there, about 92, but an occasional walk through the mushroom splash area solved that problem easily. The only downside was when the ship sounded three long horn bursts and paused for a while before sounding seven short horn bursts followed by one long eighth horn burst. This caused some concern and co but we had been there about 4 hours so we began our leisurely return to the ship. A ship crewman told us that the horn bursts were just a test but we didn’t recoany notice about that before we went to Amber Cove or while we were visiting the port area. I guess if it was a problem with the ship we were safer in the port and if it was a change in departure time hopefully someone in the port would have informed everyone over their sound system but it turned out not to be a problem. We look forward to returning to Amber Cove in the future.I apologize for the typos but as this post got longer I was not able to see my typing on my phone screen.
Earlier than scheduled and very organized by a very friendly Carnival Magic and Port Canaveral staff. They called our muster station debarkation at about 6:35am and we left our cabin and arrived at our car in the Port Canaveral parking lot at about 7:05am.
Hello PaulzyJC, I was born in 1959 but my blessed married life started in 1986. She is the love of my life and wonderful wife so that makes that year special for me. But I do see cruisers that appear to be much older than me and I can’t keep up with them but I admire and respect them for showing me how to enjoy life to the fullest for years to come.
Love your post great advice wish more people felt and thought and acted in the manner that you do. Been on her 5 times that is how much I love the Magic .
