We had such a wonderful time. Everything was great and if it wasn't, we didn't dwell on it. We enjoyed being with our best friends, the ports, the ship, the food, the entertainment. All of it!

So quick! On the ship in ten minutes after dropping luggage with porter.

Food and Dining

I really enjoy trying new foods on a cruise. Plus, we did the Chef's Table which was amazing and so much fun! Well worth the money!
Did afternoon tea for the first time and it was okay. They don't tell you there are free tea bags and fancy tea bags for $1.95. Didn't know until we opened it that we chose the fancy one so would have been nice if they were upfront about it. But, only $2 so not a big deal.
I love Blue Iguana tacos and I had a Guy's burger for the first time. Wasn't impressed with the burger. It was good but not worth all the hype. My husband disagrees.
Pizza was great, as always!

Entertainment

We enjoyed Flick and LOVED America Rocks! That was great! Of, Love and Marriage is always fun. Comedy was good but needs a larger venue. We enjoyed trivia.
Service and Staff

We can't comment enough on how hard the crew works and, overall, how friendly they are. Made us feel like family.
Ship Quality

Exceptionally clean. I spilled ice water and went to clean it up. A cleaning manager stopped me so they could take care of it immediately. Even though the ship is a bit older, we found her to be well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ocean suite #7375. Perfect location. Big cabin, big bathroom, expanded balcony. Quiet. Our steward, Arsa, was fantastic.
Ship tip
Make your cruise what you want! You want to relax? Do it! You want to be active? Do it! Experience all that you want to! It's YOUR cruise!
The port area was clean and safe. We took a water taxi to a free beach and paid $30 for three chairs and two umbrellas. The water temperature was perfect...I was concerned it might be too "refreshing." Very pushy people on the main street in town. It was dirty and I didn't feel super safe.
Cannot complain! This is a beautiful island with beautiful water! We were the second ship to arrive so no free chairs. That's ok. We paid $30 for two chairs and an umbrella. I probably could have bartered with him but I don't mind supporting the locals. The sand was a bit difficult to walk on for us "fluffy" types.
The water was perfect. Snorkeling was pretty good. I saw lots of Sgt Majors, a Trumpet Fish, a Flounder and lots of other fish. We can't wait to return to Grand Turk!
Plus, it was towel animal takeover day on the ship!
I screwed this one up. I thought, from watching lots of YouTube, I'd have a grasp on where to go in San Juan. I didn't.
It was very crowded, dirty with graffiti everywhere. People were not mean but certainly not friendly. It wasn't what I expected but I should have planned an excursion. I really want to go back and see this beautiful city but with someone who knows what they're doing.
Did have great views of the fort as we departed.
Again, port area was clean and safe. Some pushy people but not bad.
We took the Catamaran Sail, Snorkel and Open Bar excursion through Carnival. It was so much fun! About an hour to the snorkel site, Shittens Bay... yes, you read that right. Snorkeling was okay and water was calm and warm. The crew on the boat was so great. They kept us "hydrated" and happy. Couldn't have asked for a better time!
On the way back, we observed a beautiful, full-arc rainbow framing part of the island. It was unreal.
Port Everglades was easy to get to even with the construction. We stayed a day after the cruise and spent the day on the water taxi going up and down the intercoastal.
Before the cruise, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. All four of us in one room because it was expensive! We didn't realize until we started looking for hotel rooms that it was Superbowl weekend! Duh. Explains why everything was so expensive! But, good hotel. After the cruise, we stayed at the Hilton Marina. Great hotel!!
We checked our bags the night before because it was too much for us to worry about ourselves. Got off the ship around 9:45 after the rush. Filled out customs forms on mobile app and got a porter for our luggage. Through customs in about two minutes. Easy!
