Smaller ship has to be to sail from Tampa. It's a blast to be on deck as you leave. First off ,Dolphins escort the ship out to the ocean. Second, going under the bridge was so cool. Looks almost close enough to touch.

Use the Continental Breakfast Room Service because it's awesome and Free. Just make sure to be nice and tip a couple bucks for it.

Listen to your naturalist and have binoculars ready at all times. She will point out wildlife. We also randomly saw whales putting on shows all week. Get up early on Glacier Day. Bundle up, take a blanket and be ready to campout. It is worth the cold to experience the awe-ness of the 5hr experience. 6a-10a was our time at Bay. Not a day to sleep in. This is what the trip is about, savor the peacefulness.

The Legend is a nice, smaller ship. Get to the comedy shows early to get a seat.

make sure you check what is above and around your cabin. Layout is different then other ships we have been on with Carnival.

Don’t wast your money on Faster to Fun. It’s not needed. Get anytime dining whenever possible. And don’t buy the drink packages. Do your homework and see how many drinks you would need to buy a day. If you go on excursions and leave the ship, there is not enough time to consume the alcohol you would need to, to make that package pay off.

Alaskan cruise is definitely a to do. If u want to do excursions plan to take extra cash as they can be priced on the higher end.

Enjoy all the amenities, go to as many shows as you can, enjoy the food and try something you never had before, engage in conversations with the staff, go on excursions, ask any questions of the staff if you don't know something, and again enjoy yourself!

Be aware that if you buy the bubbles (soda) package you have to go to one of the bars to get your drinks. They don’t bring it to you. Also should you purchase an alcoholic drink, you don’t taste the alcohol.
