We had a great trip. The cruise line quality has declined. So many extra charges, like the bubbles plan had the kids go to the bars to get a soda, the food was great. The ice sculpure was beautiful but hard to see and only one chance to see. No sulpure

Totally agree it's all about the ports and scenery rather than the ship but after saying we also enjoyed the Legend and the size of the ship was perfect for Alaska and the ports .. yes some of the shows are a hit and miss but you should of complained about the raw comedy as your right it is normally reserved for the late spots adult only which is strange. The best thing you can do is just walk out and talk to the entertainment guy who arranges it all so it doesn't happen again ... just love Alaska can't wait to return

I agree JT. It's a really busy itinerary and about the destinations. Not really a party time cruise, although having said that I love the Carnival Legend. It's a perfect size for Alaska and light globes do burn out!

Alaska is primarily about the ports, scenery and excursions, so they don’t usually have the best entertainment on those itineraries. Most passengers were back to their rooms by 9:00 or soon after on the 2 Alaskan cruises I have been on.
