Review summary

The Carnival Legend is a nice ship, smaller but in decent shape. The cruise director was non-existent for most of the trip. Some of the cabins including ours had an issue with a bad chemical smell on one of the days and they had to “refresh” the air in the rooms. And also in quite a few of the rooms on our deck (8), the A/C was leaking and flooding the cabins and hallways so fans were blowing all the time. Overall though the trip and ship was fantastic and we had a blast, those were things out of our control.

Never stay under lido deck especially on a smaller ship

Deck chair noise is bothersome, but we brought sound machine to mask. Loved the Legend.

We could hear the chairs from the Lido deck being dragged quite a bit. And an AC leak on our side of the ship which flooded a couple rooms down from us and the hallway. But not too many other issues.

We had a great trip. The cruise line quality has declined. So many extra charges, like the bubbles plan had the kids go to the bars to get a soda, the food was great. The ice sculpure was beautiful but hard to see and only one chance to see. No sulpure
