Beautiful Ship, with a great staff....

Beautiful ship but very rude cabin staff and mediocre food. The best part of the cruise for me was the shore excusions - dolphin encounter and turtle farm, mayan ruins and tropical river excursion, mexico magic and park for swimming and the submarine/village excusion.

The ship was big enough to handle all the people adequately. It was well maintained inside and out.

The ship was a giant luxury hotel on water. It had anything you could want for a vacation. The ship staff was awesome and extremely friendly and helpful.

Overall the ship was really good. Never been on a cruise before and was impressed. It was like a floating resort -- not much different than a large hotel complex. UJust about everything about the experience was good. Always plenty to do from just relaxing to entertainment options.

The Legend is a very nice ship, but the decor is a bit over the top. Fastest elevators we've ever encountered on a cruise! Stateroom was very nice, loved the balcony. We missed the more thorough port information that NCL provided on our previous cruises. The daily newsletter on the Legend gave a complete rundown of the shipboard activities for each day, but no info on the daily port of call (area, population, climaate, history, points of interest, etc.)

Had a grea time! Loved Honduras - hills, water, etc!

First cruise in 20 years and had a HORRIBLE honeymoon on Norwegian then so we were leary coming into this! Picked Carnival for the itinerary and the price...AND the age of the ship. We were pleasantly surprised...room was larger than expected...people were super nice and helpful although many speak broken English. Food started out below average (I have read many negative reviews about the food) but each day got better in quality. Ports were amazing... overall a good experience FINALLY after so many of our friends have had wonderful cruises!

Carnival Legend is an excellent ship with an well managed crew. The trip was to safe and exciting ports.

Great staff, very clean, and very prompt into ports. Never wanted for anything, accept scissors.

The ship, while a little over the top, was very pretty and exceptionally clean and well maintained. There were a lot of things to do and never felt crowded, even on at sea days. There were lots of places to sit and listen to music, talk or have a drink. The theme of the ship, Legends, was fun and we enjoyed remembering the myths represented by the different areas of the ship.

We just returned from a fantastic cruise on the Carnival Legend. We've sailed the Spirit and Pride which are the same class ships and the Legend tops them all. The crew went out of their way to provide excellent service. Most of the entertainment was first class but there were two performers who really needed to seek another line of work. Our dinner in the supper club was outstanding; the food was on par with the best steakhouse and service was impeccable. We took the 4X4 tour in Grand Cayman and the Airboat tour in Belize and we would recommend both. This is a ship we would gladly return to.

The ship was clean, the stewards were nice and our room was always clean and organized.

Carnival Legend: We had a room with a balcony. The room size was perfect for 2 adults. Plenty of space, more then enough storage space with three big closets. The bathroom was also big - not something we have experienced on other ships. Beds were very comfortable - we slept well! Balcony: This is a must have. We enjoyed our balcony daily. There were two chairs and a small table. Great place to start the day and end the day.

The ship was cleanly maintained. We loved everything it offered. It met all of our expectations. The shows were spectacular. The dining menus were very filling. All daily activities organized for adults kept us very much involved and entertained. Our room size (w/ balcony) was spacious. The staff was very generous at all times.

Cleanliness of the cruise. The dining staff, bartenders were very courteous. Daily activities were entertaining. The stateroom was impressive.

We took the Carnival Legend for the 7 night Western Carribean (Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, Isla Rotoan) cruise. My husband's first cruise, my 5th. We had a wonderful time and the itinerary was just the right pace - not rushed and not boring. We read reviews of the ship and the decor was as expected; an older ship with a greek mythology theme. At 80% capacity, the ship didn't feel "over booked". Our cruises only consultant, Justin, recommended wonderful excursions and we weren't disappointed. Exceptional value for the price!

Great cruise and very fun. Hard to get many of the workers to understand you since they spoke VERY little english. Pools & hot tubs were way to small for the amount of people but there was enough to keep you busy. They need to change the times you get into port and maybe give you a couple more hours. We have already booked our next cruise...
