We loved this cruise, but then again we have loved all of our cruises. The ship seemed somewhat worn but still clean. The food was better than some of our other cruises, but the entertainment was not as good (in our opinion). I did not like that the kids were suppose to wear bracelets if they were under 11. I think a better method should be established. First they could ask if we intend on leaving our kids in Camp Carnival (which we did not) so the bracelet wasn't necessary. They switched the order of the ports which caused us to spend $20 on internet fees to correct an excursion booked. I understand the change, it happens. What I thought was strange was that they offered us a free phone call to correct the problem but refused a few minutes of free internet time to correct the problem when I told them the place required an email. Just strange to me. We still had a great time and we would sail Carnival and the Legend again. We thought the food was actually quite good in the main dining room considering all the food they make in one evening. Breakfast seemed just average, not great, not bad. I did like the buffet quite a bit too. I would say that Carnivals entertainment could be a little better. I did not see all the shows, but I did not like much of anything I saw. We had no problems with the staff and actually thought our dining room staff was the best we ever had. Our room steward was never without a smile. Overall, it was wonderful, but like I said I've never had a bad one yet. Cruising is my favorite place to be so it would be pretty hard to have a bad cruise.

Legend, while it is older than most of the fleet, I think it is a great design. I feel the larger ships lose something with the smaller outdoor areas, and more difficulty to walk from one end to the other. Legend has several decks where you can walk the length of the ship. it makes for better freedom, and less people in the same place at the same time. Never do you feel like your with 2000 plus passengers (except for disembarkation) The lido dinning design is the best of any ship with separate stations for different types of food. This keeps any line short, and some may argue that you have to go to two or three places to get what you want, it works. It is better than any buffet i have seen where hundreds crowd in to grab whatever. The legend also has the best pools. The larger ships have reduced the outside areas with pools adding spa's or sports. Legend fits the itinerary, especially if sunshine is the goal.

The carnival legend was a great ship to travel on. The entire ship was clean, easy to get around and organized for the cruisers convenience.

The cruise was enjoyable. The service staff were friendly and did their job well.Our room was clean and neat. The port of calls were interesting.

We were first time cruisers and this was a fantastic time. All the staff and personnel on the ship were just wonderful. Friendly, helpful and FUN! We enjoyed the ship itself, as it was a beautiful decor and easy access to everything. The food was great and our dinner servers, Fernando and Armando were the best of all. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The food was excellent , the accomadations were good, everyone was so friendly and pleasant. We had a great time would go again.

The ship decor was a little worn, showed it's age some. It was fairly well marked and easy to get around, variety of indoor and outdoor public areas was good. Smoking seemed to be allowed in many spots, which I did not appreciate.

Great destinations, but things to due on the ship were lacking. We missed Grand Cayman due to winds, though only got a 1% refund for missing 1/4 stops.

Cruise was nice ,weather was raining disco was not much to talk about they segregated the smokers and non smokers by having smokers upstairs which did not allow them to be part of the atmosphere---closed the clubs different nights for crew parties very poor business when we are all paying for the use of the ship all week... drinks where way over the top $8.00 for a dixie cup size which is rediculous they would make more if they charged less and gave a good quality drink

My husband and I decided to take a cruise for our second wedding anniversary and we decided to try out the Legend's Western Caribbean cruise. To be honest, my husband and I really didn't looks too much into the ship features before we booked, we were more concerned about the ports we would be visiting. I wish I had done a little more ship research before deciding which one to book but we had a really great vacation. The ship is a little bit older but the staff, food, and entertainment were all great!

From the time we embarked our cruise was amazing. The Legend is a beautiful ship. Our Balcony cabin immaculate everyday. You could see and feel the attention to detail and cleanliness ship wide. Entertainment well scheduled for all. We hardly saw the children on board and when we did they were having a fun time. The crew goes out of their way to make you feel it is all about you! We arrived on time at all our ports of call. Costa Maya was substituted for Belize due to damage from Hurricane Richard. Great choice! Dinner was an exciting event every night. Wait Staff and Matre D sang and danced! I highly recommend the Carnival Legend and the Western Caribbean Itinerary for all age groups! If you want quiet and relaxation or if you are celebrating this is the cruise!

An outstanding cruise from the moment we boarded the Legend. The service and food were excellent. We really enjoyed the comedy acts. This was our second cruise on the Legend and our fifth Carnival cruise. Can't wait to take our sixth cruise.

Our first cruise and our experience was so amazing we will definitely do it again.

Let's start with I boarded in the Grand Cayman's because Delta Smiles Air did not get me to Tampa in time. Delay after Delay. I boarded and had to wait for some one to come get me. At the front desk I was handed my room key and was pointed in the direction of the room. Legend # 7260. I was not offered any help just a point ( 5 floors up ). I then looked at my reservation for dinner that I made and was confirmed for 6:00 PM. Carnival had on my card 8:45 PM. I told them this was a mistake and was told " No I was given a request and it was not granted " I had to go back to my room and get my confirmation in writing and give them a copy. " My first excursion was canceled and I watched as several went off. I almost missed my second excursion because no one took my photo when I arrived and never told me they were to do so. Again I was pointed in the direction of the photo station, this time into a dead end. The room rattled and squeaked and every time I called the front desk I was given no help and The front desk made it sound like it was my own fault and the fault of other guest. Next to the room was the staff service room and some would congregate and hide there. When the staff moved the service carts they would park them in front of my room and bang them into the wall outside. One day I was walking out to the balcony and just as I stepped out a staff member starting spraying the balcony and me. I ordered room service one morning and never got it. I was sent through Customs twice by Carnival, When it came time to get off I was told to do so after Customs cleared me but Carnival would not let me off. After about an hour some lady with Carnival said " everyone off and go for it ". It was a mad house of and people were pushing and running. don't go to the Buffet after 7:30 AM and don't plan on eating something when you get back from land. The buffet shuts down most of the food and what is left is not eatable and the lines are around the boat. I had to tell the FD Manager to mark my room as " stay away " I told him I did not want any staff walking through my room, I did not want to see him or anyone associated with the boat again. I was not ever able to get any sleep from all the interruptions for the boat and it's staff. I do say the Restaurant manager Ken was the best of the staff. Every time he say me he knew my name. I will never step foot on a Carnival Cruise again and using the Delta Skymiles Cruise Department again " NEVER " Every time I called the Cruise Department I was given a recording, put on hold or given the " We cant help you " Statement or " you are on your own " or " Cancel - we will still charge you ". I still have got no help out of the Cruise department, Skymiles, or Delta. The food and the service at all meals was excellent. The ports stops were all great but Cozumel was the best. You just can't beat the prices. You can get a beer for a dollar. On board the drink cost are excessive. My only slightly negative remark would be the cruise director spoke a version of English only discernable to those people residing from Glasgow. I frequently had to go to customer service to get a translation.

I thought the ship was very clean and well taken care of. The crew could not have been any more helpful or courteous. We were treated extremely well by all and enjoyed the experience completely. Carnival should take Belize off the schedule. It does not live up to Carnival standards. I would not include a future cruise if it contained a stop in Belize. Otherwise, the cruise was completely enjoyable and I will highly suggest it to my family and friends.
