It was a beautiful ship and I was appauled that someone scratched on the mirrows in the elevators. Disappointing.

The staff was excellent, the service was great - except for soft drinks. They should be available for poolside service, etc. Very inconvenient to have to walk to a bar to get a lowsy soft drink. If you're a boozer, I guess the service was exceptional. The dining room was awesome. I was nervous about the size of the cabins, but we were very comfortable in a state room with king bed.

This ship is a little older but well maintained. The complaints we had were lack of family type activities. It felt that the cruise was geared toward those who drink and gamble and not a lot to do for those who don't. The first night there was not even a real show. There was also a lack of communication such as how to get off the ship to meet our shore tour at the end of the pier by 8:00 a.m. We heard an announcement about 8:15 but by then about 100 of us had already had to find our way out to meat our excursion. We also really missed the midnight extravaganza - chocolate buffet- or whatever you want to call it. We have never been on a cruise without one of those.

What's not to like about any of the ships? However, the ship seemed to be chopped up a bit as though there were some afterthoughts. Why isn't the water slide near a pool. Never saw one that merely stops. Wish we didn't have to constantly walk through the casino. It should be off to the side. Exposing kids to smoke while going to/from dinner and any other activities. The common areas were always kept immaculately clean.

this was the 2nd time i have been on this ship a nice atmosphere ship not to big.would cruise on it again.the only complaint is the size of adult pool.food was good service was good as well

We were on the Carnival Destiny 6 or 7 yrs ago. Much better cruise then. The Legend was not near as an attractive ship. Overall crew was not very friendly. Dining room service and food was nothing to brag about overall. Would definitely not travel with the Carnival Legend again.

Very nice ship with a great crew

Very elegant looking ship. The pools were smaller than expected, but the overall feel and look on the ship is excellent. Service was excellent..especially the food service and room cabin service!!

Loved the open dining and the option of eating anytime and also if we wanted to be seated with someone or just the two of us. Wished the pools had been bigger, they were crowded most of the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Average at best

The food was poor. I had two dinners that were so cold I couldn't eat them. They offered to rewarm but I didn't want the equivalent of leftovers. This cruise line has really deterioated.

The ship was nice, like a large hotel. It would have been nice if it had been clearer to determine which direction was the front of the ship and which was the rear. Many maps available, but easy to turn yourself around as most of the ship looks the same.

Foods are excellent. We had same waiters in each dinner, Elias, Ray, yuda who are all very pleasant and friendly. It gave us a very wonderful meal times.

This was our first experience at cruising, and the Carnival team made it a very positive experience. The staff ore the golden mine of this business. They were always available to assist, provide a smile, and excellent service. A variety of food was readily available, and for the most part, of very good quality. The debarkation/embarkation at various ports of call was handled quickly and efficiently. The entertainment was a little weak, so we ended up not attending many of the "opportunities". The biggest downside was the surprise that a soda or a bottle of water was not included in the price. Even though coffee and tea were free and always available, they were both instant and poor quality. Also, some of the activities, like billiards or putt-putt golf required equipment rental. These things together felt like I was being being milked for every extra cent. We successfully resisted the constant bombardment of ways to spend more money every day with Carnival; which led to a less satisfying cruise experience. We expected to be harassed by locals in ports of call, but we pressured even more on the ship. We spent the extra $30/person to eat in the Golden Fleece steak house on board for our anniversary. The food was extremely well done, and the wait staff was top of the line.

It was a great time. It wa very organized and all staff were very helpful. There were a lot of activities to do. It was maintianed well and rooms were clean everyday.

My husband and I have taken many Carnival Ships before but this ship was by far the best so far. It was the first time we had a balcony and it was well worth the money we spent for one. The food was excellent the service was excellent, we never felt like we were waiting on a long line for anything. Thank you for an excellent vacation.
