Do not fall for fake “Reserved” laminated seat signs in the show areas. Plus there should be more security in these areas when the fights break out about people reserving entire of seats.

Be prepared for the amount of people, big ship, lots of kids, so if that's not your thing, don't bother, but beautiful and entertaining crew.

If you get a room for 4 people, you will need to call your Room Steward or Guest Services to take out the fourth bed, which is locked up on the ceiling. This was a little confusing and annoying.

They serve breakfast on deck 5, Ocean Plaza. Lido is always crowded in the morning, so this is a nice place to sit and grab breakfast. They don't have as much as Lido, but there is plenty: eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, oatmeal.

Carnival Horizon charged extra $200 from our phone career for accessing their server. We only used our iphones for taking pictures only and no one informed us that there will be additional charges. Please keep your iphones in Airplane Mode, if you are not buying data services from the cruise line.

I learned the hard way to check what is above your cabin - we spent $$$ for a suite and it was below the galley - ridiculously loud - sounded like large metal appliances crashing throughout the night- Carnival knows this is a problem and still books these rooms at full price- I wish Cheap Cruises would have warned us when we booked too

Don’t plan!!! I read all these reviews and had every meal and moment planned even to include “this afternoon well Chill”. Until you get on board you truly can’t know what you’ll do. Lines and tastes and schedules affect everything. Download the carnival app and login to the hub as soon as you get on board. It tells you everything going on and you can check off what you’re interested in. It will send you reminders. I
