Review summary

This was a decent cruise, but there were a lot of things that could have been better. In my opinion, Norwegian beats Carnival in pretty much all—if not all—of the ship categories.

Ship Quality

The ship’s layout was a little confusing. Common areas were clean and well-maintained, but I was in a room of 4 and my bed (the top bunk bed) was never cleaned the entire cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It was a little bit small but was overall comfortable. There was a lot of shaking that could be felt from the ship moving. It would be nicer if the bathrooms had air freshener or open air vents (?). Also, I was in a room of 4 and my bed (the top bunk bed) was never cleaned the entire cruise.

Ship tip

If you get a room for 4 people, you will need to call your Room Steward or Guest Services to take out the fourth bed, which is locked up on the ceiling. This was a little confusing and annoying.
