Great Cruise by bscates61

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The cruise director and the fun team made the cruise so much fun. Ports were beautiful. Outside movies were great. The best vacation that I ever took. Will do this again.

I just got off the... by dannymitchhayes

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

I just got off the glory today. I am leaving this review as I head home in The passenger seat of my car. I cannot say enough about the space on this ship. We went 2 months ago on the Fantasy and thought it was fine. Looking back back after being on the Glory. The Fantasy was a little snug. We had early embarkation which was around 11:30. We arrived at port at about 11:45 and we were probably behind at least 1000 people when we got off the shuttle from the parking deck. We found a carnival lady and asked if we needed to just fall in line. She checked our time and said no honey your loading now. Take this line to the front. We made it on the boat in about 10 minutes. It was awesome. Rooms weren’t available so we headed up to lifo and are some good lunch. We also had a few drinks which they just charged to our room because we haven’t received our sail and sign cards. Guys burgers are awesome! Once we got our room and cards we continued to just explore the boat. There’s so much to see. Elevator lines were never long the entire trip. I’m comparing to fantasy just a few months ago. Our room number was 1255. It is a more forward cabin with only one room between ours and the front elevators. This made it easy for us to access any group of elevators depending where we wanted to go on the ship. Going to back of the boat all you had to do was walk down carpeted air conditioned hall all the way to the back elevators. It was so simple this was the first time I never got lost. I was very impressed with all crew.

The Glory is a fantastic... by JNM88

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

The Glory is a fantastic ship! I’m not going to lie, my husband and I (especially my husband), was bummed The Dream was moved to Galveston. We didn’t think Glory would live up to Dream, but we were wrong! It’s an easy ship to navigate, and the crowd wasn’t as bad. We didn’t have to wait long at bars, or in line for food, and there are plenty of deck chairs. Last year on Dream I could never find a lounge chair, but The Glory has plenty! The Serenity deck was great! It’s two levels and plenty of peace and quiet away from the crowds. The only downside for my husband was it didn’t have the deck that goes all the way around with hot tubs on the side like The Dream was. Great food! Great staff! Great stops!

Just Average by mistaboyd

This cruise did NOT provide the WOW factor that I expected. The highlight for me was the tribute to veterans. Few issues with the room, and few with food service.

We just returned from our... by lannwilliams

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

We just returned from our cruise today and there really isn’t anything I can say other that it was wonderful! Food, hospitality, friendly staff, super awesome cruise director (Dustin is awesome), Camp carnival for my 9 year old and camp circle c for my 12 year old were both great and they enjoyed every visit to camp, entertainment was fabulous (go to the shows they are worth every minute), boarding and debarkation processes were very smooth! My only complaint was being on deck 6 midship due to the loud and busy promenade deck 5 under us but other than that it was a great time!

We had a NICE corner room at the back of the ship. Well over enough room for the 2 of us. The window was big enough for my hubby to sit in, he loved that spot!

Very much enjoyed our cruise, so much so that we relaxed very little. We were sad to see the cruise end and hope to book another soon.

Could have been better by Momfaw

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall it was a good vacation. But had several issues with our cards working for the rooms or drink package. My main complaint is there was minimal entertainment for ages 14-16. Basketball courts and other activities closed at 5pm. Several other sections of the ship closed early too.
