Review summary

Very much enjoyed our cruise, so much so that we relaxed very little. We were sad to see the cruise end and hope to book another soon.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived later than our appointment and went right through to the ship. We were not on the ship 30 minutes before our cabin was ready.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate primarily in the dining rooms and the food was incredible. We had an unbelievable meal at The Chef's Table. And Guy's Burgers delivered a couple of good lunches.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the live music, particularly Group Therapy, a contemporary six-member band including two vocalists. The music trivia was a lot of fun too.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Play List performers did excellent shows.

Children's Programs

We did not travel with children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiters in the dining room were unbelievably attentive to our desires and needs.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I spent two hours on the first day familiarizing myself with the ship layout but the maps on the cruise line's app were also very helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We like inside cabins because we only sleep and dress there. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Dealt with limited outlets by taking a non surge protected multi-outlet strip. Had a wonderful steward who readily attended to our needs.

Ship tip

Remember that deck 5, Promenade, goes from one end of the ship to the other and makes for an easy shortcut.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
Didn't get to spend much time in New Orleans and, unfortunately, it rained on the day we hoped to spend there.

Key West, Florida

4 out of 5
Loved old towne Key West but it was unbelievably hot and humid. Did like Ernest Hemingway's home, especially the cats.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
Spent only a couple hours shopping here but found the shopkeepers pleasant.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Got terrible sunburns but loved Half Moon Cay. So beautiful.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Rained heavily so our excursion was canceled. Attempted to shop but everything in the market was so close I quickly became claustrophobic and had to leave. Returned to the ship to avoid being drenched.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Had to wait 2-1/2 hours for a wheelchair due to some miscommunication but otherwise disembarked with no problem.
